Shingles evokes intense fear globally due to its poor management, leading to prolonged suffering for many. The media manipulates this artificially created epidemic, leaving those without computer access unaware of the true situation.

The first severe cases I encountered were during my nursing career in the 1980s. We were almost trained to handle these cases as a combination of a dangerous contagion and mental health issues. We used darkened barrier-nursing (quarantined) rooms, administered pethidine & morphine, applied various lotions and potions, and there was plenty of blame-shifting regarding the cause.

Experts have varying opinions on the causes of shingles. Some believe it occurs when someone who hasn't had chicken pox is later exposed to the virus, while others think it's due to the illness not fully progressing. Another theory is that the virus remains in the nervous system after chicken pox. Some suggest it's triggered in highly nervous individuals by a dormant virus at the spine's base, indicating a psychiatric or psychosomatic issue. Additionally, vaccine side effects are considered a latent cause.

Anticipate a rise in shingles cases in the upcoming years, as more individuals are receiving the chickenpox vaccine. To mask the side effects, including shingles, a new shingles vaccine is being administered to older adults, which will likely lead to increased neurological damage. Additionally, this is a 'shedding' vaccine, as supported by research and citations.

In the realm of natural therapies and integrative health, we integrate research, outcomes, and facts. The reality is, when someone comes to me with shingles, I don't inquire about their history with chickenpox, vaccination status, stress levels, or any other factors. You address shingles, as with any condition, both symptomatically and wholistically. Interestingly, despite ongoing success in India and the EU, natural therapies are not publicly promoted in Australia or the US.

Contrary to expert opinions, it is possible to eliminate it permanently.

The treatment is relatively straightforward. This does not undermine the seriousness of the illness, which is extremely severe, particularly when it affects individuals already battling conditions like cancer, TB, or any other ailments that are already causing significant pain and distress.

But treatment IS simple. It is as easy as 1, 2, 3 - and 4.

1. Supplementation - Regardless of how nutritious your diet claims to be, our soils, water, and air are not ideal. Therefore, at some point (I would argue at every point), we require wholefood-sourced supplements. I have my preferred super tonics, which I discuss in other threads on this blog. These can help relieve shingles and address any deficiencies affecting your body. Taking extra LYSINE and ZINC is always recommended, at least during the duration of shingles, as both nutrients have been found to be lacking in those suffering from shingles and can significantly impact both the skin and nervous system/pain.

Fucoidan is an exceptional anti-inflammatory. It calms the nerves and, more significantly, alleviates pain. Using fucoidan daily as an anti-inflammatory without the side effects associated with pharmaceutical options is among the most effective ways to eliminate any type of pain in the body.

2. Topical applications - My favorite is Hypericum, the herb. It serves as an excellent nervous tonic and, when applied topically, lacks the restrictions associated with oral use of St John's Wort. While St John's Wort is not dangerous, it acts as an adaptogen with detoxifying properties, potentially causing the liver to eliminate medications. It can be used as a bathing herb or applied topically.

Pawpaw cream or a poultice combined with Aloe gel—I favor using both fresh, blended or juiced, and applied for several hours daily for relief. Zinc creams are also known to be soothing and medicinal for the lesions. However, when the lesions are at their most severe, applying these treatments is nearly impossible due to intense, fire-like pain. It's best to apply them to a poultice and gently press it against the skin.

Colloidal silver is a remarkable supplement for topical treatments, yet regulatory authorities neglect to acknowledge the existing research and neither recommend nor endorse its use. The remedy Argent (link below) employs low-potency colloidal silver along with homeopathic metals and elements, and it can be applied as a spray.

3. Homœopathy - often considered the most effective defense, can permanently eliminate shingles if used correctly. You may need to consult a homœopath or purchase a specially designed remedy. Throughout my career, I have witnessed this success many times. The remedy I created for my mother in 1995 is still in use today, and she never experienced another flare-up. This remedy blends nerve tonics with traditional treatments for chicken pox and herpes and can be ordered here. If the individual has any implants, please choose the silicea-free option.

It is important to note that each ingredient in its natural state is toxic and can cause a blister-like, painful rash upon contact.

However, when used in homœopathic form, they alleviate and counteract the existing symptoms.

4. Exposure/toxic hygiene - Refer to my thread on home toxicity. This concept extends to life overall. For instance, individuals frequently exposed to harmful chemicals that deteriorate health are likely to face significant health problems. It's essential to eliminate all toxic elements from your living environment. Doing so may help reduce health issues, sensitivities, allergies, and even the risk of serious illnesses like shingles.

💬 Final Note

While these natural remedies offer promising support for managing shingles pain, inflammation, and nerve damage, always consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before beginning any new treatment if you’re managing other health conditions or medications. 🌿
