  • Self Sufficient Health

    This article has been over 3 decades in the making. Back then, I walked away from medicine, alone. The fallout was immeasurable. Only now, in 2022, are enough people awake, to want to even try to understand the truth. To those relative few who did wake up along the way, thank you. To those who have more recently woken up, well done. I know it's tough, especially now that jobs, homes and personal safety is on the line. In 2021 I had a huge realisation; all the studies, all the professional effort and heartbreak were in my life for a reason: to share and teach something I have coined self sufficient health. Why not? When so many are now going off grid, learning all we can to live outside of the madness, how can we not put health at the fore? Firstly, leave all you have been told at the door. Drop it. Those medigods you have been trained by, subliminally with adverts stating, "Please see your doctor if symptoms persist" - ask yourself if those symptoms are life threatening or whether they were perhaps self inflicted (even unintentionally), caused by exposure to things you are better off avoiding, or the 'side' effects (nope, I would call them DIRECT effects) of former or current 'medications'. I have recently recommenced running workshops on how to build a dedicated home medicine dispensary but the demand is so great that at the very least, a blog post and perhaps either zoom or online courses just may be the way forward so that no one misses out. It must be said that there are now who-knows-how-many-thousands of health professionals now out of work. Immeasurable knowledge and skills going to waste. It is time to build the new health model, free of orthodox control aka registration and monitoring which, let's be real, is little more than paying a bunch of key pushers to tell us we are doing a good job by staying within their designated lines. And if we step outside those lines, and need their help, where are they? In reality they are still controlled by big-pharma and the same old back slappers. The individual, the whole being needing our help means nothing to them. Whydo you think it is, that around the world, there are so many who are vitally healthy, while way more barely exist, or do so with dependence on so many pharma drugs they rattle? Why do we choose shocking violence to our bodies by way of being poisoned or ripped open and vital organs or body parts removed, when it is not even a case of needing to do so to save our lives? I know personally, hundreds of families who would not know what the inside of a doctor's surgery or hospital looks like. Not because they are somehow magically lucky, but because they listened and learned. And saw vital health as the greatest wealth. Below is my summarised version of a how-to of self sufficient health. Find a trustworthy (natural, functional, integrative) health professional who is able to provide online, zoom or phone consultations with you when needed. I must stress WHEN NEEDED. No, you don't need to see your doctor every two weeks, every month or even every 6 months! When did that even become a thing? IF you take care of every aspect of your health, you wont 'need' to see anyone for years. Stop believing the lies. It's why waiting rooms are so overloaded and why it takes so long to see a good professional. When did you stop listening to your body? Do you even understand what your body is trying to tell you? Address your diet. As in clean it up. Did you know that what you eat has been shaped predominantly by our parents, school and advertising? Why is that not such a good thing? Well, our parents were taught by circumstance, their parents, school and advertising. When you break down the truth about nutritional facts found on food labels and even in text books, it amounts to a load of rubbish. It too, is medicalised. I have written ad nauseum on this topic, so please check out my other posts on this matter. I hate repeating myself (I have done it for too many years, to too many brick walls...) Clean up your environment. Again, I have written too many articles on this topic for too many years. We live in a toxic society. Wherever you are sitting, look around you. What materials are the furnishings, furniture, wall coverings, gadgets and toys made from? Chances are, they are mostly toxic. How much fresh air and sunlight do you get? What do you drink? What do you wash with? What do you clean with? Please check out my articles on this topic - this one idea is linked to everything from allergies to organ damage to cancer to auto-immune disease. Therapies: does anyone around you offer even day courses in therapies? Do them! That might be massage, relaxation, yoga, breathwork, etc etc etc. Why do we always rely on strangers to 'fix' us? Just a few hundred years ago, these skills were handed down from elders to future generations and in the most healthy places in the world, they still are. My kids were taught therapies from the time they could speak. My kids were making tinctures before they were teenagers. They could identify herbs and medicinal plants from the time they were toddlers. My granddaughter, aged 7, made her first tincture at the end of 2021. Not because anyone instructed her, but because she had already begun to gather knowledge and by intuition, managed to make a remedy that actually worked. My twins, by the age of 3, were doing cupping therapy on each other any time they needed it. My eldest child was overseas when she was in her early 20s, dealing with a terminal health issue of a loved one. She had learned enough over her years, took the right remedies with her, and bought more over there, while learning some more traditional therapies locally - enough to heal the loved one when all the modern medicine available had failed. On the subject of therapies, what do you use? At the first sign of illness, inflammation or discomfort, do you rush off to the GP for a battery of tests? Why? Seriously, WHY? Stop asking natural health professionals 'so, what do you treat?' Would you ask a doctor that? See a good natural health professional that has been recommended, have the tests they recommend and watch your life change. Imagine health hubs with all the therapies in one place, instead of super-hospitals! Books and websites: haunt all the second hand book stores and buy up the self help natural health books. Which herbs do you need? What natural first aid tips could help your family? What old wives' tales actually work? Don't listen to the media or some dismissive egotistical quack who will not ever consider that all we need is already here if we know how to identify it. Build up a health library. It should also include a record of all your health records thus far. Ask for them, they are yours, after all. Xrays, blood tests, scans, etc. Grow your own. Did you know that EVERY single herb and spice has medicinal value? Have you ever used say parsley for fluid retention, or cinnamon to balance blood sugar? What about corn silk for a UTI or thyme for a sore throat? Set up a herb garden; a few pots on a window sill, a beautiful David's wheel, a cottage garden full of every herb imaginable. Don't just let them sit there like most people do. USE THEM. Dry them, store them, whether in glass jars or in alcohol like brandy, gin or vodka. Oh, and your kitchen should be a healthy one, not a place for junk food or heating up pseudo-food by radiation. Build a first aid kit. Have you done a first aid course? IF not, WHY not? Something that shocks me is this con that we must go back regularly to update our skills. Guess what? If something that worked for me 4 decades ago to save another life actually worked, it will still work for someone who needs saving today! I did my first course when I was about 13. I did a refresher/more intense course during my nursing training. Since then, I have lost count of the number of people alive today because of something I learned back then. Stop thinking you can't do it, stop thinking only doctors can save a life, or that you will make a mistake. If you are worried, read your first aid book again. I still have the same one I got during my first course! SO much knowledge online, so many books to read. Use them. Natural first aid. Did you know there is such a thing? 'Such as?' I hear you ask. Well, off the top of my head, did you know that soy sauce is the best treatment for burns? As in once you have done the initial first aid, removed the source of burn, rinsed off with cool water, or rested in cool water, soak a few chux or similar cloths (old nappies or towels) in water, pour and cover with soy sauce and put in the freezer. Every 10 minutes or so, take one out, wrap the burned area with the cloth. Once it warms and softens, put it back in the freezer and cover with the other cloth. Keep going until there is no more stinging. I have seen 3rd degree burns healed completely within hours by using this method immediately. Or, what about the hot/cold treatment? We all know about heat packs or cold compresses but few talk about combining the two. In sanitoriums, hot and cold baths were used but not all of us have that luxury. So get a container of cold water to which iceblocks have been added. And fill another container with very warm (not hot) water. First, put the painful area in the warm water until it no longer feels warm, then put it into the icy water. Once it feels no longer cold, top up the warm water with hot water to increase the heat slightly and put the painful area into the water. When it cools a little, repeat the cold, then increase the temp of the hot and repeat. NEVER make it too hot and never use just iceblocks. Common sense rules... Within a very short time, the capillaries and lymphatics have expanded and contracted repeatedly, flushing through inflammatory compounds while bringing new fresh blood to the area. This works at rapidly reducing pain and inflammation. I could fill a book with the healings I have witnessed using this method. And there are literally thousands of amazing natural first aid options available around the world. Supplements: Aside from the fact that corruption has allowed big pharma to buy out many natural health companies (read the small print - who owns it?), there are some amazing supplements available. Apart from a very few nutrients, I am not a fan of the medicalisation and isolation of nutrients. This method creates further imbalance, organ damage and even toxicity. Complexes are the way to go, whether herbal or vitamin. STOP listening to the naysayers and 'evidence based' rhetoric stating that there is no proof that any of these things work. Rubbish. Billions of lives over the years would say otherwise. Their testing methods have been shaped with very real outcomes in mind - proving a natural therapy is not one of them. Visit the sales, the clearances - build up your stock. You may not need it now but you will. And ignore 'use by' dates. They have been dictated by the same rules that oversee perishable foods that do indeed expire. Pharmaceuticals: Believe it or not, as an ex nurse, I still promote and use certain pharmaceuticals. They all come with dangers but in an emergency, they can save a life. I am not talking about depending on pharmaceuticals to exist or barely stay alive. I am talking about what will help you when nothing else will. Some of my recommendations include mild analgesia, STRONG analgesia (sadly there are restrictions on codeine based meds - which is a joke because the drugs they recommend in their places have more side effects and kill more annually than codeine ever did). If you can access it, stockpile it. Antihistamines - allergies are not a joke, especially if they should cause pain or stop you from breathing. Admittedly, there are not many pharmaceuticals I would use - not because they don't work, but because of the side effects and the little known fact that there is almost ALWAYS a natural alternative. Again, research it and stockpile! Homeopathy: Those who know me, also know I am a homeopath first and foremost. But for a little corruption and not a little amount of money, homeopathy would have been mainstream and what we now know as modern medicine, would have been an elective, only when needed. While a practitioner cannot state these words, I can because I no longer practice - homeopathy cures - homeopathy heals - homeopathy is safe - homeopathy is safe and works for ALL animals - homeopathy can be used safely and effectively for ALL ages, during pregnancy, while you are in a coma and best of all, even if someone is not aware you are administering it, it will STILL work. Homeopathy can be made from any material, matter or energy and the end remedy is the opposite of the original substance, an energy imprint. For example, if you cut an onion, it makes your eyes water and your nose sting. Like hayfever. So, guess which remedy is brilliant for hayfever? Allium cepa - aka onion. No onion left, but the energy imprint elicits the opposite effect. For the same reason. someone who is allergic to say pollen, can safely take the pollen tincture to cure a pollen allergy. It must be prepared by a compounding homeopath or pharmacist trained and skilled in homeopathy.You cannot hurt yourself with homeopathy, but if you take the wrong remedy, it simply wont have any benefit at all. This is where an expert prescription should be considered. OR.... a preparation of a combination of remedies which enhance the properties of each other and focus on a symptom set should be in every single household.   • Health in the time of COVID-19

    There is a lot of misinformation out there - still - regarding COVID-19. Does it exist? Was it man-made in a laboratory? Is it a side effect of the flu vaccine? Is the test fake? Why do all cases of COVID-19 and especially the deaths linked to it, have underlying life-threatening health issues? Why are all natural treatments being banned or ridiculed? Why is COVID-19 being recorded as the cause of death in fatalities unrelated to symptoms of respiratory infection? Regardless of what is truth or fiction, I can only encourage readers as to the astounding number of traditional treatments returning to the fore, and to the ingenuity and resolve in the backlash time of unnecessary self-isolation and lockdown. To anyone who has worked in quarantine or isolation in a situation which posed a real threat, you would know that the over-the-top measures utilised by the public and businesses are useless & ineffective. The media has a lot to answer for, but the onus must lie with our political leaders who have proven that they take their orders and advice from pharmaceutical spin doctors. The facts surrounding this are extensive, but suffice to say that a mask and gloves will not protect you from any sickness. Nor will staying indoors, out of fresh air and sunshine. Especially when no means to build your health and immunity are advised at any level. Aside from the fact we have lost the ability to wash our hands (in favour of applying toxic sanitizer), there is no reason not to adopt a few old habits and remedies. Those who are successful in treatment are taking advantage of the myriad God-and-earth-given measures, some of which I will outline below. Treatment should never be expensive; this is just a reflection of human nature hoping to make a quick buck from any situation. So, what can you do? Firstly, stop relying on a diagnosis - for anything. All dis-ease should be treated subjectively because no two cases of anything are identical and regardless of a medical (objective) diagnosis, all illness is personal and no two cases alike. This is the pivotal reason why most medical treatments are failing in all aspects of medicine. So, what to do? Fresh air This simple measure is not to be sneezed at (no pun intended). Staying indoors and wearing a mask especially, ensure high levels of carbon monoxide and low levels of oxygen which is required for cell healthy; the polar oppositve of what ou need. If you have an ozone generator or air filter, use it! Ongoing exposure to carbon monoxide even at low levels, can result in the following symptoms - I am sure you will find it sounds familiar right now, especially in our elderly: Flu-like symptoms Headache Dizziness Weakness Chestpain Cardiac arrythmia Dementia Pneumonia Respiratory symptoms Death Meanwhile, high oxygen levels are capable of turning each of these symptoms around. Sadly today's air quality especially in urban areas is poor. Again, if you have an ozone generator or air filter (which are available cheaply online), use it! Vitamin D and Sunshine Vitamin D is the immune vitamin, (even above C which must be continually ingested simply because the body cannot store it) which generated in the body after sun exposure. In countries where there is no sun, or for bed-ridden patients, you will need to supplement with D3 but this is rarely needed. And as I always advise, don't wear sunglasses because more than 90% of beneficial rays are absorbed via the pupils which sunglasses block. The skin absorbs the rest, but thanks to the whole slip, slop and slap mantra, most people are covered from head to toe. Let your skin breathe! Some of the benefits of adequate vitamin D levels include - Protection against asthma (especially steroid resistant) Improves cardiovascular health Reduces depression Improves immune function Filtered water One of the major symptoms of COVID-19 is dehydration. People simply forget to drink, or they drink liquids which do not assist the kidneys in any way. Tap water is better than nothing but if you read my article on the shocking state of our tap water today, you will know that you are self medicating in the worst way just by drinking a glass of water. Filtered water is important - vital in fact. Get a simple water filter, use a distiller or reverse osmosis machine. Boiling water will kill harmful bacteria but it will also concentrate levels of other pollutants and heavy metals. As a rule, get into the habit of drinking a small glass of water every waking hour. PS alcohol, coffee, tea, soft drinks, flavoured milks and cordial contain water are not water; these in fact need the countermeasure of more pure water each time they are consumed... Herbal tea There are too many herbs on this planet to list every one which will assist with the symptoms of COVID-19, or any illness for that matter. The rule here is to try to utilise herbs that grow in the nation where you live. It is not just an old wive's tale that you will respond better to plants grown where you reside; it is a natural phenomenon of molecular proportions of adjustment (micro-evolvement) between us and the plant world. Herbal teas are the best way to get beneficial herbs into your body and build up your immune system, or treat existing symptoms. Many of these herbs were mentioned in the Bible. The general rule is 1 flat teaspoon per cup of hot water. If dried, you can use a little less. If fresh, pick a few leaves, chop and steep in boiling water. There are also countless books available for home use. I have also been told by a few people that they cannot take homeopathy because it could harm them and made them sick last time they used it. It is not possible. That would be like saying breathing or drinking pure water could harm you. Due to the deliberate crack-down on homeopathy in some countries, you may need to order online unless you are fortunate enough to have a dispensary close by. Some pharmacies and health shops stock remedies with titles such as cold and flu; these are the ones you would benefit in using. There are literally hundreds of single or simplex remedies which could identify with the different, multiple and varied faces of COVID-19. Using small weights to exercise. Did you know that some of the best workouts available today involve no specialised equipment? Get the blood moving, get your lungs moving - breathe deeply. Diet and nutrition Possibly the most glaringly obvious thing I have noticed since the COVID-19 farce began, was the deficit in nutritional advice. Not a single politician, leader or media outlet has encouraged the public to avoid poor diet and take up vital holistic nutrition. Healing requires healthy cells. To get healthy cells you need a wide array of nutrients. As many and varied as possible. This means throwing out the old staid diet of fried food, microwaved meals, meat and dairy, sugar and processed flour. Your diet needs to consist of wholefood, organic and non GMO - with as much raw food as possible. Breakfast should be fresh juice and smoothie preferably. If this is not possible, then organic porridge or chia pudding. Snacking should be avoided unless it is made from fruit and seeds. Get baking - make healthy snacks to nibble on through the day. Remember, a snack is something you eat between meals - it is not a meal in itself! Lunch should be a mix of vegetables and pulses such as chickpeas, beans, lentils and quinoa or brown rice - organic if possible. An organic multigrain bread can be used to make a 'burger' or sandwich. Evening meals can be soup or salad (which should go with every evening meal), sprouted seeds, nuts and healthy grains, organic vegetables - either steamed or roasted in a good oil. Organic jacket potatoes with a mix of salads and vegetables wins hands down every time and gives you almost 100% more nutrients than any grab and go fast food or fried option. Please focus on the recipes attached to the photos in 'albums' which are high raw and healthy. Avoiding triggers and aggravating factors This is where it gets controversial. Sorry, but if you have agreed to, or been coerced into a flu vaccine, your risk of developing covid symptoms increases. Don't just sit back and wait to get sick. Be prepared. Did you know that perfumes and many different chemicals can not only create hayfever type allergies but respiratory illness? Research any medication you are taking - chances are, it will include respiratory symptoms as side effects. Find alternatives (preferably natural). Dairy is a known mucous membrane irritant. Avoid it - all ages. All forms of dairy. There are alternatives available today. Balance your pH I challenge you to test your pH. You can use a pH strip or pool testing apparatus - test your saliva or urine. Most of you will have a pH less than 7 which is exponentially lower than ideal, which is 7.2 - 7.4 at the highest. Symptoms of a low pH include inflammation, poor immunity, sickness and disease. All disease. You cannot risk a low pH but I am almost willing to be you have one, unless you are already going all of the above. If so, you need to change what you eat and drink. To help you adjust, taking a flat teaspoon of bicarb in warm water every morning and night every day will improve your pH. You will notice less inflammation and sickness as a general result. If you can, get out in the garden One of the most catastrophic fallouts of modern living is that by moving to city areas and smaller houseblock sizes, plus the fact so many are now living in apartments, is the lack of exposure to good, honest, clean dirt. This is not a joke. Many people take B12 supplements today, especially because of the vegan link fallacy. Most people think that you need to eat meat and dairy to get your B12. How do cows get B12? From the dirt attached to the grass they eat. It was discovered a few years ago that primarily grain fed cows produced milk and meat low in B12. It was also discovered that in order to make B12, you need a certain bacteria in your gut, which is only found in healthy soil. It can be absorbed through the skin (another reason why barefoot is best) or pulling fresh vegetables out of the soil, wiping off and eating.   • For the Health of Australia

    As a former nurse, I have never lost my love for hospitals; one formed as the child of a parent who was also a former nurse. Over the years as a sickly child who spent time at least once a year as a guest of our beloved local hospital. While my young peers idolised superheroes like batman and the phantom, my heroes were the nurses, allied health professionals, domestic staff and occasionally, the doctors. Not all, even back then. Even as a child I saw the entitlement, ego and almost god worship surrounding many doctors; most of whom rode on the coat tails of the ones who deserved admiration and respect. I saw true miracles. Most of it courtesy of the sheer volume of hard work and dedication of the nurses who, as I would find personally many years later, were able to mask their fatigue and personal pains, while smiling and healing and doing jobs that no mere mortal would remotely consider. From panroom to theatre, from delivery room to morgue, from the cubicle of a sickly infant to the last breaths of a senior citizen, the ward halls were filled with loud voices and giggles of seemingly always happy care-givers with gentle hands. The health industry is run by those who are far from healthy. During my stays in hospital, it became a 'job' of mine to fold surgical packs & roll bandages years before I would be paid for doing the same. The stainless steel, glass & terazzo of the treatment room were as much a thing of beauty and awe to me as the glass & tiles and surgical instruments of theatre. My highschool work experience week-long trial was a highlight of my youth, & it was a painful and jealous school holiday stretch where my friends were able to don a yellow assistant's uniform while I could only dream of a time when it was my turn. That thrill has never left me, even decades since I left my nursing career behind as a traitor to what had fast become a religion of sorts. Today, so long since I walked away for the last time with a pain in my stomach and ache in my heart as those I deemed peers and superiors turned on me as I made vain attempts to expose the wrongs in modern health care, I still get butterflies and a warm buzz any time I enter a hospital. Sadly it usually ends on a sour note as I witness yet another situation that is wrong for so many reasons. Not because staff are any less dedicated or because people want to heal any less, but because they must abide by orders from faceless entities, salespeople and spin doctors, even media and politicians - and their hands are tied. I have spoken at length on the theory of integrative health conservatories or sanitoria instead of superhospitals. Where plant based nutrition, pure water, hydrotherapy and fresh air/sunlight are at the fore of all health care. Where GPs are seen as a guide rather than someone who magically knows it all; who can delegate to the right professional for the job at hand. Where all modalities work together in order to formulate a dedicated plan for each individual patient's care. Where it is not about masking sickness but building at an emotional and then cellular level and healing the entire body to stop the pattern of lifelong customers that forms modern medicine today. In the latter part of the last century, a cleverly orchestrated plan took place to bring down natural health care and implement its hostile takeover by this corrupt system. All over the world, it was given a different face and name. In Australia it masqueraded as the PAN crisis. It focused on one company, while taking out hundreds behind the scenes while rewriting the rules which resulted in hundreds of natural health professionals being deregistered. Regardless of their own success in creating healthy customers. Around the same time, the movers and shakers in the government, paid handsomely by stakeholders within big pharma, began to change what orthodox medicine would look like. Doctors began coming in from overseas, promised unimaginable reward IF they agreed to a spell in a rural area and a quota for meeting pharmaceutical sales to prove themselves. Doctors who began speaking out against the new shape of health care were run out and this continues today. In the 1980s it was not unusual to see an elderly doctor still in practice. Today this is rare; they have been replaced by intellects eager for a better life who will sell themselves short just to make a living. It does not seem to matter that centuries of knowledge have been lost or discarded, nor does it matter that the new face of medicine looks nothing like this new wave of doctors once imagined. The disconnect between the goal of these providers, ie health - and those overseeing the industry, is too vast to bridge. They have become no more than product salespeople. Rural hospitals, once capable of responding and saving lives in the most dire of emergencies, once full to overflowing with beds in hallways and theatres running sometimes 7 days a week, with city overflow patients convalescing in comfort and peace, would be downgraded to nursing posts. Nurses who once ran quarantine units, performed surgery, delivered babies and lay bodies for their final rest, were now relegated to bandaging and admin duties. Instead of rounds and procedures, doctors sit behind their desks, with their faces turned away from patients and towards their computers, dispensing as many drugs as possible in order to meet the quota and win that month's pharmaceutical company reward. The disconnect between 'surgery' and theatre is complete. Today, around 90% of Australian GPs are clinicians. The statistics surrounding our sickness industry (as opposed to our wellness industry) are enough to make you sick. Efficacy rates of modern treatments sit at little more than 30%. I know of no other industry that can continue with such poor effectiveness. Yet ask anyone what they could not do without and 9 times out of 10 it will be 'my doctor'. Just a little run down, from someone who chose to work predominantly in rural hospitals, although I did spend time in city hospitals. In as recent a time as 1990, most hospital care was free, but private insurance was already forcing its way in. The gold standard now is to copy the US (check the numbers of a) how many hospitals have been closed or bulldozed in less than 10 years and b) how many private hospitals have been built in less than 10 years) : 2011 Australia had 752 public hospitals (592 private) 2014 Australia had 747 public hospitals 2015 Australia had 678 public hospitals (624 private) 2016 Australia had 701 public hospitals 2017 Australia had 695 public hospitals 2018 Australia had 693 hospitals (657 private) Most statistics from prior to this have been blocked from public view. For some reason, there are no new statistics since 2018 and now that the COVID-19 plandemic has taken place, I can only wonder what spindoctors will do with 2019 and 2020 statistics. Bear in mind, no great war bombed out our hospitals. No earthquakes or other natural disasters. Our leaders ordered for their closure and removal. And now we have services draining limited funds, in place to transport the sick, injured and dying hundreds of kilometres for medical care. In less than 10 years, FIFTY-NINE PUBLIC hospitals have been closed. In the same amount of time, SIXTY-FIVE PRIVATE hospitals have been opened. To date, there are zero plant based nutrition programs in either medical programs or hospital treatments in Australia. Unless a natural health professional or product is secreted into a hospital, not even filtered water or sunlight is utilised in order to encourage healing. The body is by weight, 90% pathogenic, yet treatments involve chemical cocktails capable of killing ALL pathogens, even the ones we need for life itself. When did a little fancy paint and bandaid overtake the foundation of health care itself: the health of the patient? I can only urge policy makers to listen to those who honestly have HEALTH at the fore, rather than sickness. Yes, we will always need emergency care. We will always need some surgery. No one would dispute this. But to take a body, test it and base ALL treatment upon the prevalence or dominance of a pathogen or imbalance by using poisons and chemicals, or even excising and removing or burning, rather than nourishing and soothing and healing that body with all it needs to thrive, is as far from health care as the humans race has ever been - including the darkest of ages when spells and superstitions were used as a form of health care. I dream of the day when the public are encouraged to see natural health physicians and advised to eat an organic plant based diet, drink filtered water and get adequate sunshine. When raw organic juice is given instead of Sustagen or coffee. When supplements and herbs are subsidised at a rate higher than pharmaceutical drugs and poisons, when therapies are paid for by the government as a reward for taking care of one's health, instead of feeding terminal and chronic cases with McDonalds and encouraging families to stay at a purpose built home away from home built by the same fast food giant. When our governments cease to fight to close down successful natural health hospitals, fund natural health professionals to become established and reward those who choose these modalities as their form of health care. Most Australians do not even know that Melbourne boasted a large successful Homeopathic hospital which treated over a million patients between 1876 to 1936. Medical doctors were forbidden from associating with homeopaths, regardless of success and efficacy and could be punished if found doing so. Such is the arrogance and ego of modern medicine. This does nothing to heal the patient. When gentle therapies are used before the cut, poison and burn protocol. When a course of energetic drops or an acupuncture needle are used in place of torturous methods and neurological poisons. When ozone therapy and bioresonance are used in place of radioactive modalities and testing methods. When people no longer have to sell their houses for expensive pharmaceutical treatment which will kill them in the long run. When they no longer need to take out a mortgage to travel overseas for a 'mystery' treatment easily conducted at home or at least in their region. And most of all, when every single rural town has its own active hospital as mega hospitals become a thing of the past.

  • Get Healthy - ABC of Vital Health

    While doing a talk recently on getting healthy, I realised that I haven't written anything yet which will take you through your health journey from the point of where you are at today - waking up, becoming aware, realising you have had enough but do not know where to start. There is a lot of information here and elsewhere, which helps you with specific health issues - but what about ground zero? So, here it is. Each piece of advice will have an appropriate link and take you to a new page so you don't lose your place here; you can take notes or you can copy and paste into your own health file. - AWARENESS that you need to make the change. Let's get started. I would like to start at the beginning. When I began in medicine I was taught that it was all about administering something synthesized or surgical to remove symptoms and mistakenly believed this was what gave us health. Over the years I realised absence of a diagnosis or obvious symptoms did not mean absence of disease or indicate good health. I began looking into diet and lifestyle as I realised it was no coincidence that those rare people who practiced certain lifestyles and ate a certain way were actually vitally healthy and were not weird after all. We were taught these alternatives were some form of witchcraft and not only dangerous but did not work; that modern medicine HAD to be invented because before this, everyone was sick and dying. Nothing Could be Further From The Truth Like so many before me, I saw the relationship between BAD diet, bad habits, exposure to toxins, chemicals and various stressors – and compromised health. I also realised that really good health seems focused only in a few formative years of our lives if we are lucky, when kids were shiny and fit and vibrant. Then you grew up and by 30, facing health struggles, weight issues and even chronic or terminal health issues. Yet very quickly, people were getting sicker and ageing a lot earlier as years passed. Health seemed to be a distant memory that took up a tiny fraction of our lives, but even this eventually would be experienced by a fortunate few. During my nursing years I noticed that while we saved lives, not all medicine was good - the links between what we gave and side effects, ill health , even death were screaming at me. So I began to study the basic 4 aspects of health which were somehow missing from western medicine – diet and nutrition – namely how much we ate (we eat too much in the west), what we ate, how we ate and what we classed as food. Much later on I found out that the entire system of much of what I had even learned in college was not quite correct; the food pyramid and 5 food groups were bogus, benefitting only those industries which paid for the so-called studies - and that good health depends on body pH and non toxic cleanliness both inside and outside of the body. I was shocked early on to find out that some of the world's poorest people eat the healthiest diets. soil, plants, air and water – science has proven this is the foundation of food and in turn health at a cellular level but somehow along the way even this truth has been poisoned – and good, natural food had been replaced with pseudo food consisting of a few basic ingredient combinations, ie meat, dairy, wheat products, sugar in all its forms and processed or packaged foods which are now so full of chemicals and manipulation that little, if any, nutrients remain. This was all shaped by geography, industry, circumstance such as war and poverty, and media; which in turn, rather than be separated from what constitutes health, became the new normal, and with it, a new education. So I learned all I could about organic farming and gardening, including biodynamic and permaculture methods which can be done by anyone, anywhere. The sick fact is, our soils and water are so deficient in nutrients that food no longer contains enough to sustain us and bring about vital health. Today, everyone should have at least a basic nutrient supplementation, whether it is in a smoothie or capsule, a tonic or a superfood blend. natural medicines – these include foods and superfoods, herbs, minerals, nutrients and energy – which can be both preventative and healing. So much knowledge has been lost in favour of so-called new discoveries and interestingly, a lot of my own knowledge has been verified in old books and old wives' tales; actual case studies as opposed to the mental scholarship of today's 'evidence based medicine' which has nothing to do with actual physical evidence. Yes, I studied formal courses but over time much of it was thrown away in favour of what I saw working in practice and my own life, in real time. physical therapies – I learned early on that we practitioners could learn one relevant field and be very good at it or we could try to learn as many as interested us and do none of them – or our patients – justice. So I learned acupuncture and cupping, and left the other bodywork therapies to practitioners who focused on them. I did study such things as reflexology and massage but decided to leave those to others who actually enjoyed them. Physical therapies can include anything that your medical experts and media alike will usually say do not work, and advise against using them. Chiropractic, Osteopathy, various manipulative therapies, hydrotherapy, pilates, yoga, Alexander technique, Rolfing, Qigong, Moxibustion - just a handful of the many, many therapies available to you IF you are keen or desperate enough to try anything (as most people will say to excuse crossing the shadow line into taking care of your own health) which will restore and build vibrant health. These therapies actually keep far more people alive and healthy than modern medicine has ever done, but there is little money to be made so they do not get the same funding or airtime. Natural health does not need to cost the earth, but lack of it can cost your life. Today, everything you need to know is available online, much of it for free. Youtube is full of incredible natural health experts and renegade doctors who are happy to share knowledge for free. Making simple changes to your home, diet, habits and lifestyle can and will save your life and that of your family. Home health dispensaries have been my focus for much of my career. If you do not have one set up, you are basically waiting for ill health to come, and you are taking your chances every day. So, what causes ill health? We all hear about CONGENITAL, genetic, inherited disease. Did you know much of that is man-made? Over generations, our cells, organs, even our DNA is damaged by diet, toxic environment, bad habits, memories, stress & most importantly, modern medications which in turn give rise to the next generation being born with so-called disease, weaknesses & health issues, or just being weaker & more susceptible to what they are then exposed to. Food and DIET - Did you know that eating certain foods can cause anxiety, inflammation, stress, depression, pain and poor immunity? DIET plays a massive role in your overall health. Look at the word itself. DIE-t. Most food choices are exactly that - made up of death, creating death. For some, it may be alcohol or non-organic wheat flour; for others it may be meat and dairy. On that note, and ethics aside, where do you think those fear hormones and adrenalin go when that animal is hurt or killed before you eat it? Most do not want to hear about it but I have seen even terminal disease turned around by removing all foods derived from suffering. Today we hear all about anxiety and depression but again, I have seen those symptoms reversed without medication, just by changing diet. Toxins and medicines - Then we get to ENVIRONMENTAL toxins in and out of the home. Today, we are exposed to thousands of different man made chemicals a day, in our furniture, our food, our workplace, even before we open a spray can or anything labelled poison. The world was once organic and today you have to actually make the effort to make anything organic. In a normal day, the average person is exposed to thousands of man-made poisons thanks to hair, skin, nail, body and even dental products. And these include neurological poisons like nerve gases in perfumes and this includes even so-called organic, natural and baby products. What can you have in your home to make a difference? The first thing I tell people is to READ LABELS. It is such an easy piece of advice – not so easy to implement. It takes hours to do the shopping, choose cleaning products, buy personal care – most stuff on supermarket shelves is rubbish; it's no good just to grab and buy, not if you want health. There are apps today that help you choose non toxic. To ignore that one piece of advice is to ignore your life itself. No one else is going to take care of your health. Your doctor takes care of your sick symptoms, that is all. Covering them up or even removing them is not magically going to make you healthy. Get toxic chemicals out of your bathroom. Replace them with natural, organic, pure options even if it is fresh water and soap alone. ALL matter is chemistry - but toxic chemicals have no place in a healthy life. Open your FRIDGE. What is in there? 80% should be fresh food, or at least made from fresh food. Is it full of plastic packaging or wrapping? Did you know, like furniture, these wrappings out-gas? That means the poisonous chemicals in the wrapping and sprays used to clean and sterilise are just that – poisons – and they are touching your food. Do you wash your fresh food? Even using bicarb or apple cider vinegar or hydrogen peroxide in a sink of water can remove most of the pesticides and other poisons sprayed on your food by default. What's in your pantry? Is it all packets? Sugar? Processed? Aluminium? BPA/pthalate laden plastic? Each of the above spells stomach poisons and cancer. A pantry should be very basic. A cardboard box or basket each for stable foods like potatoes, pumpkins and onions which preferably still have the dirt on them which will only be lightly washed off and not peeled before use – did you know dirt is the only true source of the bacteria that is needed in order to make vitamin B12? All other sources are second hand and not really beneficial at all to you or the animals it came from. And B12 is needed by EVERY cell in the human body for normal function. If you are unwell and lack energy, chances are your body cannot store it. Yet an entire life supply of B12 could fit onto a pinhead. Pantry staples - Collect glass jars or buy them from op shops. Fill them with - beans and seeds healthy flours and other dried foods maple syrup or organic coconut sugar – or organic raw sugar at a push organic flours simply because your stomach (and in turn your nervous system) cannot handle non-organic flours healthy herbs and spices healthy salts such as Himalayan salt, sea salt, Celtic salt and black salt (which gives an egg flavour to anything) peppers - black, white, green, red, native spices such as paprika and turmeric and dried herbs seeds – sesame, poppy, flax or linseed, caraway, sunflower, alfalfa, pumpkin etc nuts – almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, Brazil, macadamias and so on – soak them to activate and blend into milk or make cheese sauces or add to cakes and muffins oils - olive, grapeseed, sunflower, macadamia, avocado and so on offer omegas largely missing from most western diets and responsible for skin, hair and nerve health vinegars such as apple cider vinegar and other fermented vinegars will help keep the body pH correct and fight bad pathogens What can you GROW at home to improve your health? If you can, start GARDENING, even if it is window pots or balcony pots. You will need to improve your soil because most Aussie soil is deficient in minerals, elements, nutrients and beneficial bacteria. Organic gardeners actually have to add these things to our soil to even grow anything healthy. Fresh food from the supermarket is better than nothing but absolutely nothing beats home grown organic produce for taste and nutrient value. HERBS – I could do an entire talk on the benefits of kitchen herbs. Did you know parsley fixes bad breath, takes the smell out of garlic foods, and removes fluid buildup in your body? Garlic kills bad bacteria. Rosemary helps clear the mind, calms you and helps with period pain. Ginger helps with joint pain and period pain, nausea and abdominal pain. Mint also helps with breath, alkalising the digestive system and is cooling. Sage helps balance hormones and keeps you calm. Every herb has multiple uses and sadly most of this has been forgotten thanks to bad press and ignorance on the part of medical experts. Herbs were the foundation of all medicine, even back to Biblical times, yet pharmaceutical companies have worked hard to teach us that the only way we should have herbs is if them are synthetic. The truth is, herbs and spices not only help flavour your food but build your health like nothing else. Many years ago at the beginning of my natural health career, I did a talk with a group of CWA ladies on the benefits of kitchen herbs. I walked into a very hostile group of angry women who did not believe this young whippersnapper could tell them something they believed they knew more about. I was pretty nervous and had a feeling that thanks to some of the most impressive gardens in my hometown, these ladies surely knew more than me. Within the first few minutes arms unfolded and they began to take notes and lean forward, actually listening. Once finished it took me another hour to get out of the hall, as one by one they came forward – each had a lovely cottage garden but other than garlic and mint, no one knew a thing about how to actually use these beneficial plants for their health. And each of them had lightbulb moments as they remembered things their parents or even grandparents used to do for health purposes – safely and very effectively. Fermenting, INFUSING and Sprouting – one of the most important things you could do at home. All you need are a couple of jars, seeds, beans, culture and water. And for ferments, salt and organic sugar. Something most people do not realise is that ALL seeds, grains, beans and nuts should be soaked or sprouted before use – this includes for flour. Certain compounds inside are not activated until this is done so we not only miss out on the nutrients but some foods remain anti-foods, even inflammatory, until this is done. To sprout seeds, nuts, grains and beans, all you need to do is put a spoon of them in a jar, cover with water, leave to soak for a few hours, cover with some fine material or a chux cloth and an elastic band. Drain, leave in a light area - not direct sunlight, and repeat rinse & drain once or twice a day. Do not allow to dry out or become too soggy. Within a few days you will have sprouts and if you leave them in the fridge, they will continue to grow as the plants look for light. These can be added to any salad and you have supernutrients you would not believe. With fermenting, try to get a scoby or kefir culture, a kvass culture or start your own by making sauerkraut or kimchi. All of this is found on youtube. Fermenting provides probiotics and helps build your immune system like nothing else. By weight, we are around 90% pathogens and symbiotic parasites – sounds awful but is fact. Antibiotics kill a lot of that off so our bodies start to decay and degrade. That means inflammation and poor health. To make an infusion, simply steep herbs in hot water or oils to make a decoction for your personal use. Again, the internet is full of recipes and ideas. On the topic of youtube, have you ever heard of healing Frequencies? EVERYTHING is energy - remember learning about solids, liquids & gases at school? Well, go a little above what we are not taught - frequencies. Our bodies are frequencies, sounds are frequencies, colour is frequency. Even health is frequency. And so is sickness. All around, we are exposed to bad frequencies yet we can re-set every day just by listening to the right frequencies. And it's free. What about fresh air & breathing? This sounds odd, right? But most of us do not get fresh air. How long since you sat down the beach or out in the forest and deliberately breathed really slowly and deep? This action alone can save your life. Oxygen is the life source, is in water, air, soil and a major component of our bodies. Yet to get it, we are breathing in every other airborne poison possible. The beach and forest create ozone and this is the strongest version of oxygen you can get. By habit, we breathe shallowly and at best, too many times a minute – most people breathe 20 – 30 times – because we are constantly in need of oxygen. This means our oxygen sats are low constantly. I'd like you to take the time now to try a little experiment. Sit up straight or stand. For the next minute, breath slowly and deeply. You should only really breathe around 5 to 8 times a minute. See how long it is until you become dizzy. Set a timer or look at your phone or computer time. When it reaches a full minute, go. Breathe as slowly and deeply as you can, filling your lungs, hold, then slowly release. Keep going until the minute is over. Did you perhaps get dizzy? That's because your poor brain is oxygen starved. You may even notice your heartbeat increased or you felt nervous. That's all the extra oxygen now cleaning your blood and shaking you up. Make it a habit a few times a day to do this for as long as you can. In no time you will be doing this out of habit. On the matter of habits, what do you drink? Coffee? Tea? Cordial? Sugary fizzy drink? Milk? Did you know, the only drink you should have is water? All drinks are made up of water but that water is so hard to extract that we rarely get the benefits. Your kidneys will not be thanking you, nor will your skin. Or your brain. Did you know that in order for you to actually feel thirsty, your body is dehydrated? That is because, as a survival mechanism, your brain is the last organ to be starved of water. That means all your organs are already struggling. All other liquids should be seen as a form of medicine - fresh JUICES (not bottled), smoothies, herbal teas etc. For every other type of drink you have, you should have at least a glass of water. Tap water is junk and full of thousands of chemicals which are not only permissible but our government water body has something called 'accepted levels' – including chemotherapy and other drugs such as anaesthetic, industrial solvents and toxic acids. A cheapie water filter is better than nothing - even an affordable 8 stage filter which not only removes most poisons but remineralises. There are also optimum water filtration systems such as reverse osmosis and distillation. Get into the habit of having a small glass and jug on the bench. Once an hour have a small glass of water. If you want a hot drink have a herbal tea. On top of getting your water fix, you are getting health benefits. Make sure you add bicarb water and slippery elm to your daily drinks to regulate pH and also stop abdominal pain/IBS while lining your mucous membranes to protect them from the usual daily assault. Kinetics. Do you exercise? We all need to exercise – even if we are in a wheelchair. If you do not exercise, your cells will be constantly starved of oxygen and the other chain reaction of chemicals that prevent your body from seizing up and decaying at a greater rate than need be – ie inflammation, pain, sickness and premature ageing. Breathing and stretching forms the basis exercise, with the moving of blood and renewing cells. Most of us can walk. Some of the world's fittest people do not even have specialised equipment. Again, youtube is full of videos with experts showing how to get fit without equipment. I love gym equipment but by far, my favourite is small handweights and sandfilled legweights. Start by walking a little, then a lot adding the weights. You can even put a few cans of beans in a backpack to add weight as you walk. Keep an eye your posture as this has a vital effect on your health. LEARN what therapies you can do at home. Even small children. It is vital for every home to have a dispensary simply because (and I say this as a former nurse who worked in ER and theatre) most issues presenting at ER or doctors' waiting rooms are easily treatable at home; you have just been taught to depend far more than need be. The medical system is a disease system. It focuses on disease and the measures they feel are needed to remove the pain and visible symptoms, but do nothing for your health. SET UP YOUR OWN HOME HEALTH DISPENSARY HERE It is also vital for you to learn first aid. If you cannot get to a class, learn it online or from a first aid book. 30 years ago, every home had a kit, everyone knew the basics because it was taught even at school. Today, the mental image is totally different; people call the ambulance for anything - demand it in fact, simply because they do not know how to deal with everyday issues. Do you know how to dress a cut? Splint a fracture? What to do if someone faints? Or has a seizure? Get someone breathing again? Start a heart? Stop someone bleeding to death? Once upon a time this was taught at school, even in swimming lessons, at girl guides & scouts. Today, in an emergency, people stand around with their phones, already planning how to share on social media, forgetting that life. Along with what has already been mentioned, there are such things as essential oils, herbal tinctures and ointments and MYRIAD THERAPIES. All effective, all safe. Have you heard of cupping? You can buy cupping sets for as little as $20 and take care of healing and pain right at home. I taught my kids pretty much as soon as they could hold a cup and the twins were cupping each other by the age of 3. Detoxing is vital for getting healthy. Breathing, water & exercise kickstart detox. Nurturing your body and health with every safe effective therapy available to you, is the only way to ensure vital health. Do you know how to do massage? It's so easy. Out of habit, we instinctually put our hand to a painful area. When we have a headache we habitually hold the back of our neck or forehead or temples. Yet we have lost the ability to massage, which improves circulation, realigns our meridians if we massage in the direction of our long-bones, if we gently massage we stimulate our lymphatics. We can use hot or cold packs, hot water or cold water to relieve pain and move blood and inflammation. There is actually no limit to what you can do at home. I have been working on a home medicine kit (botikin) which is designed to be easy enough for anyone to use safely. You can now buy professional kits for your animals, children, pregnancy, travel, weightloss, immune function and so much more. There is such a thing called pain cream. It is herbal or homeopathic based and works better than most analgesics, without side effects. Epsom salts hot baths or footbaths remove acids and inflammation. Saunas not only provide a gentle skin exfoliation but release a massive build-up of toxins from within the body. A gentle spa will help massage your lymphatics. Have you heard of Oil pulling? It's the process where you take a teaspoon or so of coconut oil and swish it around your mouth to pull out everything from bacteria to acids to toxins to even parasites. It becomes so toxic you cannot swallow it, but spit it out and wash your mouth out – it is so beneficial it can even build up the enamel on your teeth and fix mouth ulcers and loose teeth. Dry body brushing & exfoliation are one of the best at home therapies you can do for your health. Your skin is your body's largest organ and just under the surface is not only blood vessels but the most ignored system in the body – the lymphatic system. We believe the digestive system is the septic system of the body but that is not true. The digestive system is actually where red blood cells are meant to be made – the bone marrow only does this when the stomach and intestines are destroyed beyond repair. PLUMBING... Nutrient assimilation should happen in the digestive system. Today, it rarely does as it is so inflamed, & our diets so appalling, it just washes away. Lymphatics are the true septic system. Imagine sewers under a city. They need to be well built, have large pipes opening into small ducts, all waste is flushed into that system & it washes away with a clean water supply. Any blockage festers into odour, overgrowth of moulds & fungus – in turn, parasites & vermin build up; disease results. Our own sewer systems – our lymphatics – are the same. Interestingly, the most overlooked system in modern medical quackery. Tiny vessels or pipes lead into ducts and larger pipes. If you have swollen glands, infection or cellulite, it means your lymphatics are blocked, not enough water is flushed through & each duct has become clogged and overgrowth of unwanted moulds, fungus, infection and parasites results. So body brushing, exfoliation, hot Epsom salts baths and footbaths, massage – especially lymphatic drainage type massage of the skin layers are all vital. Acupressure – another video I would like to put up is about treating the body with acupressure. At college we had a running joke, that one day no medicine cabinets would have drugs but every home would have a box of acupuncture needles. Over time I realised that this was not necessary – that our fingertips or the end of a pencil was all we needed. There is a little trick I used to try with any patient willing to have a go. I'd take their BP at the beginning of the consult. Then I would show them an acupressure point to massage – clockwise to release the energy - while I was taking notes & filling in their forms & charts. At the end I would take the BP again. It was ALWAYS substantially lower. And not because time had passed – many of these patients were stressed and red faced, meaning their BP was high and usually needed medication to control. I'd advise them to do the same technique 3 times a day, 3 minutes a day and come back in a fortnight. Without fail, their blood pressure had been permanently lowered. I have lost count of the number of times I have quietly applied the main heart point during a suspected heart attack or stroke. Some cases were really bad and as a former nurse I knew they would often have ended up comatose. Not a single case was failed. Some stood up and walked away. One day we had a stroke happen before use in church after a service. She was near comatose, unable to open her eyes, move her arms or legs - or speak. While we waited for the ambulance I pretended to hold her hand while I massaged the heart 7 point on her wrist and talked to her. By the time the ambulance arrived, she was sitting up and talking clearly. She was discharged from hospital a few hours later, after a thorough examination. WHAT TO AVOID? Just as with label reading, we need to question EVERYTHING to do with health. Regardless of whether you are exposed to, inject, or ingest it, you must question it. What are the Side effects? Media and medical experts alike will tell you that the benefits outweigh the risks - did you know that term was coined to con people into dangerous treatments which had the ability to kill? Many natural Therapies cannot be registered simply because they cannot kill. The 'value' of a natural health modality or remedy is based upon its ability to cause harm and at what level. Think about that. And choose wisely. Every single day, search for the truth - get an Understanding of just what is available - BEFORE agreeing to anything even remotely able to create harm. It's not just Vaccines you should be avoiding. A WHOLISTIC effort is the only way to ensure ongoing vital health, slowing down ageing and fighting disease. AVOIDANCE of what we know is bad, is as vital as exposing ourselves to what is good. Radiation, x-rays, EMFs, towers, microwaves are just a small part of what is bombarding our cells every minute of every day, but there are ways to avoid them. You can also Google the relevant points which you can massage – anticlockwise to strengthen or tone up, and clockwise to release. How to make remedies at home. There are even cheap professional level courses for herbs and other therapies online today. START AT GROUND ZERO. You can slowly build up your medicine cabinet by buying supplements, herbal tonics, lotions, creams and tinctures from discount suppliers. Start in the clearance section – you can even go to bargain bins in health shops, supermarkets and pharmacies. Just because you don't need it at that time does not mean you wont need it. So right now, you don't have a cold but that echinacea or cold and flu remedy will be needed come cold and flu season. Grab a few bandages. My staple sterilisation agents are hydrogen peroxide, lavender oil, iodine and eucalyptus oil. For serious issues I use the wonder solution, stabilised chlorine dioxide (look it up!). My favourite healing creams are pawpaw, calendula and hypericum. In all my years as a parent and practitioner I have never once taken a temperature. It is not needed. I never thought that would be the case in my nursing days simply because we based everything around body temperature. If you are warm, you are fighting something, usually an infection. Fight the infection, not the body. If you are in pain, by all means take something to make yourself comfortable but that is not going to heal a thing. Make sure you treat whatever is causing the pain. Stop seeing your body as a set of diseases or independent systems. See it instead as a whole. Every single system depends on the next for energy, blood supply, nutrients and cell growth. Everything you do, everything you drink, eat, apply, inject, breathe in and surround yourself with, has a direct effect on your health.   • The Disappearance of the Hippocratic Oath.

    FIRST (AND LAST) DO NO HARM? When I took the Hippocratic Oath, as a nurse, (then later as a practitioner in my own right), it was probably the most sincere moment of my career. Above the resolve I had to want to heal every single patient. Above the resolve I had to expose corruption and error in medicine. Above the resolve I had to make every single patient feel important. I swear by Apollo the physician, and Aesculapius the surgeon, likewise Hygeia and Panacea, and call ​Almighty God to witness, that I will observe and keep this underwritten Oath, to the utmost of my power and judgment. I will reverence ​those who taught me the art. Equally with my parents, will I allow them things necessary for their support, and will consider their sons and daughters as brothers and sisters. I will teach them my art without reward or agreement; and I will impart all my acquirement, instructions, and whatever I know, to all my pupils, who shall bind and tie themselves by a professional oath, but to none else. With regard to healing the sick, I will devise and order for them the best diet, according to my judgment and means; and I will take care that they suffer no hurt or damage. Nor shall any man's entreaty prevail upon me to administer poison to anyone; neither will I counsel any man to do so. Moreover, I will give no sort of medicine to any pregnant woman, with a view to destroy the child. Further, I will comport myself and use my knowledge in a godly manner. I will not cut for the stone, but will commit that affair entirely to the surgeons. Whatsoever house I may enter, my visit shall be for the convenience and advantage of the patient; and I will willingly refrain from doing any injury or wrong from falsehood, and (in an especial manner) from acts of an amorous nature, whatever may be the rank of those who it may be my duty to cure, whether mistress or servant, bond or free. Whatever, in the course of my practice, I may see or hear (even when not invited), whatever I may happen to obtain knowledge of, if it be not proper to repeat it, I will keep sacred and secret within my own breast. If I faithfully observe this oath, may I thrive and prosper in my fortune and profession, and live in the estimation of posterity; or on breach thereof, may the reverse be my fate. In the end, it was this Oath and the lack of maintenance (of what I saw as a resolution to be kept), that caused me to walk away from my earlier career and find a new way. One where I could live the Oath for real. The constant push back, apathy and outright attack experienced from all sides since then has been soul destroying, not just for me, but for thousands who based their life's work on the Oath. From the outset, the Oath has been desecrated completely. Not just one vow but ALL have been broken. It is no longer even compulsory to take the Oath. And for those who do, it is broken from day one of medical school as stakeholders have manipulated medical knowledge to ensure the focus is on money and control, and even if well-intentioned students with good hearts begin with their ideals in place, IF they last, they will graduate with very different points of view and goals. Today, doctors' and other medical experts' rewards are great. There are few who do not drive the latest car, or live in luxury. Even those who have a life of poverty to treat the poor, are bound to agreements from satan himself. Agreements they in turn will defend to the death. What is right in front of them will be reported or recollected as the complete opposite to the truth, simply to ensure their registrations are renewed, their reputations and esteem continue intact, and their coveted titles remain in situ. Meanwhile, the patient (or individual) no longer factors into the equation. First point of contact, the questions are solely about vaccine status, followed by diagnosis importance and the end point - medications and other measures which will keep the industry wheels turning. In turn, those who work 'under' the medigods hold a special, sacred oath in their hearts, formed during their studies and practical years, which bind them to keep quiet, to never speak out against these medigods or the controlling pharmaceutical and legal companies responsible for their industry's existence. When a legal case does arise, the entire team involved will go into damage control to ensure all stories are exactly the same. Many a career is destroyed when one brave enough to speak out is excommunicated. Medicine is devoid of knowledge or accuracy in regards to nutrition and diet. In fact, generations of jokes of hospital food and medically-advised nutrition continue to this day. Medical associations have put their stamp on diets and products linked to obesity, anorexia, sickness and death. Childrens' hospitals and general hospitals alike have fast food outlets on their grounds and hand out fast food vouchers as a sick reward for being sick in the first place. To rub salt into the wound, medical associations and governing bodies openly criticise natural diets and doctors have long advised vegan and vegetarian patients to eat meat - even raw liver - in the vain hope it will magically cure an imbalance. Dietary advice in medical circles - including medical nutritionists - have been penned by the same pharmaceutical industries; meat, wheat, dairy, sugar, corn etc - each responsible for ill health in the first instance. Recommended RDAs are nothing more than what is required for basic existence rather than vital health. Since medicine has grabbed and held onto pseudo nutritional knowledge over the last 60 years, they have focused on singular deficiencies such as iron, calcium, protein, folate and various B vitamins - not realising or accepting that to be deficient in ANY nutrient requires a jenga game of various deficiencies and imbalances, gut and blood damage long standing, poor diet and toxic exposure; to throw one nutrient at it (usually synthetic) is catastrophic and in turn responsible for acute, chronic and even terminal ill health. Hurt and harm; damage ie poisoning and cutting, even burning, are so accepted as the first line of defence today that most people will prefer it to changing their diet or improving their lifestyle. In fact, many demand it. If a doctor cannot do it, he will demand (refer) for another to do the deed, above and prior to any other measures being put in place to at least try to restore health. Vital body parts are taken away, destroying health and life as the patient knew it; yet this is still seen as something to be thankful for? Even if that patient dies in surgery, 'they did all they could'... God help any healer who dares to say that a clean diet or herb or remedy could have spared that life. Today, so many drugs are administered to pregnant women it is a wonder any pregnancy reaches 40 weeks gestation. Vaccines, comprised of poisons advised to not touch with bare hands, DNA from other creatures AND aborted foetal 'cell lines' (see point 4 of the Oath), known carcinogens and toxins, are now injected into the pregnant woman to ensure the child is indeed 'born with it' - giving rise to an ever-increasing number of genetic deformities and issues. Until relatively recently, ALL health advice (ie prescriptions and medical/surgical treatment options) were just that - advice and optional. This means ALL advice given should ensure that every patient or their guardian agrees wholly based upon informed consent. Not so today, as children are removed from the care of their parents in order to 'treat' them with chemotherapy possessing the propensity to cause harm and kill, in the hope that cancer can be cured. Or to force vaccines into an already compromised body in the belief it will prevent a disease the child may never be exposed to, with a plethora of safe, effective treatments in existence, yet ignored. Once upon a time, all disease, all pathology results, all advice, was clearly explained to the patient or parent. This is no longer deemed necessary and legal teams will be utilised to override the wishes of either parent or patient and enforce medical 'care'. Lies are told every day. We have all heard of the term baffling them with science. This is an effective method used to frighten the patient into changing their mind, even believing they need a dangerous treatment or procedure, above and beyond trying anything else. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO is possibly the biggest lie of all, considering they have not tried everything, or allowed anyone else to. Millions of deaths can be explained away as 'natural causes' or even made up diseases and the world falls for it. Aside from the appallingly low number of sexual misconduct cases actually reported, it is now a common habit to falsely accuse any medical expert of sexual misconduct if they venture outside of the rules to report an anomaly. No honest doctor wants their name dragged through the mud so they will go quietly away with their reputations destroyed, while those actually abusing their power are free to continue. It is now normal to sexually abuse a child under the guise of gynaecology, by performing vaginal examinations - on children, or as often as deemed 'necessary' by the medigod of the day. While non-invasive alternatives for Pap smear and digital examination for prostatic enlargement are available and effective, most experts choose to continue with this abuse. A real healer will treat a patient regardless of any perceived obstacle, and whether they have insurance or money to pay. Today, this is a rarity with many dying before they get a chance to even enter ER. Depending on where they live, they will not even be collected by ambulance, in many nations. Cheaper, less effective options are chosen for those without insurance. I have seen more than one patient die in front of me when the medigod chose to not treat them due to their skin colour or socio-economic standing. Today, in order to enforce big pharma guidelines, confidentiality is no longer a major factor in health care, with media blurting out personal and private details in order to gain public opposition to a patient's health status, vaccine history, refusal of medical treatment and even mental health history (even if painted simply to suit the situation). The system is broken. As pharmaceutical companies (Revelation 18:23) took control & political clout took over from honesty (germ vs terrain theory) it was never going to be an honest or fair system. It's only God who is capable of bringing this down, because today, the church & Jewish communities are two of the most ardent supporters of true witchcraft (the title which they conveniently save for God-given health and healing). With big pharma also now owning and funding everything from facebook to google the average person has little chance of finding facts; any medical expert who supports this and denies it has broken the Oath permanently. Trying to find truth today is almost out of bounds. Even package inserts are hidden and MIMS annual requires a licence to obtain. Honest pharmacists and medical experts alike are forced to keep silent. Any attempt to steer a customer or patient in the right direction can result in legal action, destroyed reputation and loss of career. Those at the top care little for the individual. Or the Oath.   • Cupping Therapy DIY

    Have you heard of cupping therapy? It is a safe, non-invasive treatment form which provides healing & pain relief of a variety of health issues. It also helps build immunity naturally while healing tissues. Cupping is an ancient healing form which has its roots in many nations. Across Asia, Africa, India, the Middle East, including Israel and Egypt, Greece and eventually throughout Europe, this therapy, according to an ancient saying, cured half the ills of the world. Thanks to the sad and frustrating history of various crusades, true and safe healing arts were destroyed and discredited; robbing multitudes of sound and effective health care. We would somehow rather have our bodies cut open or poisoned (or even death), over creating a healing reaction of purpura (red bruise-like reactions which are both an indicator of inflammation and blockage, plus a sign of exactly where the health issue can be found). Over the years, cupping was relegated to small clinics off limits to the general public, or required overseas travel to find specialist care. Celebrities and sports people alike are the most common supporters and users of this therapy; sadly the media, funded by bosses who own pharmaceutical companies, prefer to make fun of this instead of taking the time to interview these people who are glowing examples of fitness and health. Some even use it for cellulite therapy and cosmetic surgery replacement. Thankfully, part of my post grad in Clinical Acupuncture opened the doors to Cupping therapy and created enough interest for me to take further studies in Cupping, taught by a Chinese practitioner responsible for healing disease and injuries for which modern medicine had no answers or even hope. The clinical results I found, led me to choose Cupping above Acupuncture simply because of its simplicity; especially due to needle phobia of so many of my patients. It also allowed me to trace the source of pain, injury & sickness in so many patients, without needing to use a point locator or electro-diagnosis. While researching for my PhD, I revisited earlier studies on lymphatic health, namely lymphoedema and dermatomes to identify zones of the body via the cervical, thoracic and lumbar charts. Even though two different therapies, lymphatic health and cupping merged in an interesting way and the cupping course I studied involved both; this allowed me to deal with an even wider variety of health issues. I prefer cupping of the UB (bladder), DU or (governing) & GB (gallbladder) meridians to both detect & treat health issues. Using the meridians to place the cups & dermatomes to work out the location of the blockage or injury allows for effective treatment of many health issues all over the body. For example, an injury to the forearm will show up purpura on the T1/thoracic 1 zone. Menstrual pain and reproductive issues will show up purpura in the lumbar dermatomes, the exact location will depend on what the issue is. If it is an issue which would need an MRI or surgery, such as endometriosis or fibroids, the exact location can be found up to lower thoracic zones which can affect abdominal organs. Take it a step further and see just how far the UB, DU and GB channels reach throughout the body. Sounds complex? It is, if broken down. But using either trigger or silicone cups on the back, placing them down the spine, then alongside the first row, then again alongside that row, you will see in a relatively short while, sporadic formation of purpura which indicates the location of the issue for you. Each cup should be left in place for between a few minutes (for children, elderly and chronically unwell or those on medications which damage the integrity of the skin and blood vessels) up to 25 minutes for athletes and those familiar with the use of cups. Repeat placement only needs to be alongside any purpura, as those areas not reacting indicate no issue in that dermatome or meridian. Remove the cups after suitable time, then either rub or scratch the area with a brush or comb to disperse the circulation and itching that affects the area and see how the areas mark up - and where. A skilled cupping practitioner can remove pain and even long term illness. There is no reason why you can't start practising at home now. My children began their cupping games when barely 3 years old and in our household every room has a set. Four generations of our family have used, benefitted and appreciated home cupping sets.     Have you ever thought about how many people in the world actually live & work at home? Despite the lure & attractions of living an urban life according to movies & media, a huge proportion of the world's inhabitants spend their days thriving - and working in & around their home. So, why the panic now? Think about it. We have been squeezed into ever-decreasing sized house blocks, urged to live in high rise, condensed homes, when there is more than enough to go around. 'Social' life now means going to shopping centres/malls, clubs, sporting arenas and other myriad man-made over-populated social gathering spots and we now feel odd if we enjoy our own company and solitude. Apparently, we are no longer normal if we thrive without a (hectic) support network. Why are we so scared at the thought of actually living at home? Why does isolation and quarantine scare us so much, if it is so easy for so many? More importantly, how can we make it better? FOOD Enough with the panic buying. Nothing has disappeared. It is still all here as it was prior to the announcements. If you can't get to the store, order online. That goes for your favourite supermarket and is a huge opportunity to find new options. Temporary drops in certain items are not the end of the world; buy something else, TRY something else. And wait until it is in stock again. Panic buying ensures someone else misses out. BREAKING HABITS What do you do, just because? Do you even remember why you do what you do, every day? Is it really convenient or was it something you found out about at the time which just became a habit, or even addiction? Is it good for you? Is it good for the planet? Does it affect others and if so, good or bad? Is there something you need to break? Focus on something else which will benefit you, your family or someone you never met. FITNESS & WEIGHT How do you keep fit? Do you even keep fit? Why not start now? Dust off those old dumbells or skipping rope, hula hoop or workout bench. Turn up the music and dance! Don't have any equipment? Make your own. Did you ever hear of the woman who was so overweight she could not even walk to her mailbox? Now she is a fitness guru, all without any specialised equipment. Check out youtube for at home, no-equipment-needed workouts. And what of the right diet for you? Thie pH diet (2) is my preferred diet; not the least because it saved my life, but also countless people around the world. It's not about cheating or eating what you think you like. It is about doing the right thing for your body and health, about longevity, and life itself. Why put good fuel in your car when you put junk fuel into your body? Did you know that lack of sunlight not only destroys your immune system, but also affects your mood (ie depression)? Sitting inside creates a catch-22; over time you become so depressed you don't want to get out to absorb those rays. And did you know that you cannot get sufficient rays if you wear sunglasses, simply because those rays are absorbed predominantly via your pupils? Stop covering up, unless you intend to spend a long time out in the hot sun in the middle of the day. Otherwise let your body breathe! INDOOR GARDEN Don't have a huge garden space? What about sprouting (3)? Did you know that LIVING food is the best food you can consume? If you do not have a sprouter, you can do it in jars and tie some porous cloth as a lid, with an elastic band. I have a few sprouters and still prefer to use jars. Seeds, beans, grains and even nuts can be soaked, rinsed and sprouted at home for fresh, high nutrient food and it takes a matter of days. Do you use herbs? If so, how? And if not, why not? The lore about the use of herbs for health goes back to Biblical times. Medicinal or culinary, the uses are limitless. Yes, you can actually grow your own immune building medicines at home. And what of those incredible kitchen window herb gardens we see on TV and movies and wish we had? Shelves by a window, a bench by a window, or even a tray under a good light will do. How many of you have an old pretty baker's stand or open bookshelf that is not really being put to good use? Yes, you can buy specialised equipment or you can use some of your free time to DIY (4). OUTDOOR GARDEN Thanks to ever-increasing urban development, the best a family can hope for these days is often a balcony or postage-stamp sized yard. Never fear. Ever heard of vertical gardens? With a little ingenuity you can grow much of what your family needs in tubs and vertical planters. Yes, you can buy pre-made equipment or you can use just about any vessel for a planter. What about coffee bags (5)? Or discarded pallets (6)? I believe the world's richest, and least affected by social distancing today are the ones we in the west usually consider the most poor - subsistence farmers (7). They will just continue to do what they always did, still getting enough sunshine, growing their own food and keeping fit to boot. CANNING AND PRESERVING Until relatively recently, every home had its version of preserves, whether jams, sauces, vegetables or entire meals. Some spend big and buy preserving kits but if you have a large, deep pot and glass jars with lids, you can do it too (8). That way, you always have food. How do you think those cans and jars of food get to the supermarkets? Do you have a favourite recipe? Too much fruit? Love pickles? Pretty much anything can go into a jar. And it's fun for the whole family. And rather than the overprocessed, sugary options out there, make your own health food supply. If fresh food is on special, buy a little more and preserve it. FASTING AND ABSTINENCE How's your health? Do you ever wonder, "Why ME"? As in why others seem to be healthy, but not you? Could it possibly be to do with something you are or are not doing? Now's your chance to find out. Have you been meaning to lose weight or do a detox (9)? In yesterday's fast paced world, it was almost impossible for many. Now, the only excuse you have is the one you are making up in your head right now. Are you worried about not having enough food? Maybe that is the problem. We eat way too much today, and are more obest and sicker than ever. LEARNING HOW TO COOK Do you cook? If yes, how? I mean, who taught you? Was it circumstance or convenience? Do you cook to nourish or just to eat? Everything you put into your body should be able to heal and grow cells. It should be medicinal AND taste amazing. And it should not adhere to any one ideal. For example, how contrary are your ingredients? Do you have pulses and herbs and condiments that are not processed? Do you shy away from fresh food? Why? I learned from some of the best and besides, there are so many passionate, incredible, healthy cooks out there happy to share their skills and knowledge - and it's all online or in books. Best of all, you can start today (10). MAKE YOUR OWN Anything and everything. There are so many adages of how women have emasculated men, or how men have entrapped women. While yes, this has happened and does happen, you can bet if you feel this way, it's because of societal pressures, not the opposite sex. Why can't men cook, sew, knit and do crafts? Likewise, why can't women fix and build and repair and do male-oriented jobs? Think about it - some of the world's best cooks are men. And some of the most amazing tradies are women. What do you need? Ask yourself if you can make it. What about making clothes for yourself or your family/friends? Youtube is your friend; there are millions of DIY videos out there. What a great time to start. Join a social media 'buy nothing' or trading group and start asking. FERMENTING Have you ever thought about making your own healthy fermented products at home? Kombucha, kefir, yoghurt, sauerkraut, kvass and kimchi are big business and can be costly. Yet all of these can be made at home for pennies and a few ingredients. They are a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals and probiotics and can be the missing link between good gut and immune health (11). Today I ferment just about everything - beans & pulses, seeds, vegetables - there is ALWAYS something I can simply spoon out at mealtimes that not only tastes mind-blowing but is incredibly good for you. You can spend entire days each week collecting jars & look up incredible humans that share happily on this set of skills. I absolutely LOVE this guy. He is as passionate about this life as anyone I have ever seen - so much, that he has now set up a studio (12). LEARNING HOW TO BARTER AND TRADE Do you have a cupboard or shed full of things you don't need, no matter how many plans you have had for them? And what if your neighbours have something you need? Prior to our tax departments coming down hard on any of the old ways, there used to be a thriving system of bartering for points in almost every nation. This is the perfect time to start up again. Do you have something you think could change the world? Are you a good storyteller? Go for it! BUILD THAT WEBSITE There are many DIY websites out there now which will allow anyone to build a professional looking website. Sell your skills. Become a mentor or adviser. Sell your ideas. Or goods. DRY AND BULK GOODS While the western world is fixated on toilet paper, what of food? All food is made up of just a few basic ingredients and most people are paying for someone else to put them together. Fill jars and containers with flours, beans, nuts, grains, seeds, pastas, rice, herbs & spices. If sealed, they will store well. If unsure, put them in the fridge. RUN WITH THAT IDEA Are you a closet inventor? Do you have an idea that could make life better for someone else? Why not work on it? Get drawing, designing, making and doing. You have time now. EDUCATION FOR KIDS Okay, so I guess I am an anomaly. I always hated it when my kids went to school. I had my reasons which proved to be valid, but what of the current situation where you find yourself in a small space with rowdy kids and no idea how to school them? Did you know ALL schooling can be done online or at least with online guidance? Why not make everything and anything a fun lesson? Sounds corny, but what are we teaching our kids? Do we even know? When I finally got my kids out of mainstream, the world opened like I never imagined. My twins had a dozen university level diplomas between them by the age of 16. Did you know most of the world's knowledge is now available online for FREE today? (13) For small kids, let them be creative. Have educational DVDS, shows and games on hand at all times. Documentaries do not have to be boring. Did you know that many of the world's changers were homeschooled? EDUCATION FOR ADULTS And what about you? Were you ever disillusioned with your job or career? Do you wish you studied something else? Why not study a free course online? You pay a small fee for the diploma or degree but it is all at your fingertips right now. Try Coursera, ALISON or any of the plethora of free educational sites out there. OUTSOURCING HEALTH CARE AT HOME Did you also know, your home is the SAFEST place for you when you are unwell? It's not just an old medical joke that tells of the fact that a hospital is the last place you should be if you don't want to be sick! What is the point of self isolating if you are going to be exposed to everything you are trying to avoid, and especially if you are worried about being immune compromised? As you begin to set up your dedicated home health dispensary, you will soon see just how self sufficient you can be and how misled you have been. And what of the times you need expertise? Decades of learning and practical experience can now be found online. It is safe, confidential and professional. And the choice is far more extensive than needing to go to one provider, get a referral, go to another, then go to someone else to decipher the information which you should have been given in the first place. You will wonder how and why you did not know this before. You will receive a printable assessment which you can then use as a reference to further stock your home health dispensary and take care of every aspect of your health. BUILD A DEDICATED HOME HEALTH DISPENSARY (16) PET CARE How many of us have animals that have had no choice but to fit around our lifestyles? Right now, they are probably pretty happy to have you home. Don't ignore them. Play with them, and if possible, take them on that walk. Revise their diets and living conditions. Get some exercise with them. Clean up their homes. HOW DOES TV FIT INTO THIS? Don't become a couch potato. And don't be a mainsteam media puppet. Watch a move by all means, but don't become fixated on things that wont enhance your life. LEARNING HOW TO COMMUNICATE AGAIN Have you been too busy for life? Have you forgotten how to talk to your family? What about your kids? Are you a part of their lives or on the periphery? Show them the real you. Show them why you are the greatest father, mother, aunty, uncle, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother, cousin, guardian. What were your greatest childhood memories? Make the greatest childhood memories for your kids. And your partners, parents, siblings, friends. You don't need a huge gathering to live. Write letters, emails and messages. Make that phonecall. LOOK OUT FOR OTHERS How are your neighbours? Do you have an elderly friend who could use some help or cheering up? Are your friends and loved ones okay? Do you know someone struggling with depression? Enforced isolation can have a disastrous effect on someone who needs to be around others. Thankfully, there are sound and effective natural ways to help them (15). There is also a concern right now for those who are housebound who may be domestic violence victims. Don't ignore it; these are the ones who need you the most. Call in the experts if need be. TAKE UP A HOBBY Do you have hobbies or has it become a life of doing what you can manage to fit in? Did you want to learn how to dance or paint or play an instrument? Did you give any up because life got in the way? Thankfully there are millions of people out there ready to share their skills with you, to help you on your way to amateur or pro level new skills. GAMES AND READING Before the advent of the TV and computer age, people read books and played games. How many books sit in boxes or on shelves in your house? Can your remember or did you never learn? For those struggling with dyslexia or vision issues there are audio books. As an avid reader I can tell you that nothing compares to a good book. Your own imagination sets the scene and it is always far better than any great cinematographer could envision. And more fun. Okay, so there is nothing quite like a well made movie but when did we stop thinking and imagining? And what of games? Whether physical like old fashioned darts or quoits or handball, or a skills game like Scrabble or Chess or Trivial Pursuit, or even a fun game like Monopoly or any of those board games you have gathering dust, it can bond a family or friends like nothing else. SLOW DOWN Most of all, take a breath. Let this time do its healing, magical work. Slow down. It is time for reflection and change. Make the most of it.   • Creation of the Word PANDEMIC

    Pandemic. A word not created until modern medsin took its bow, no doubt created to make the western world sit up and listen, and turn to teh 'great hope' in the belief that before modern medicine existed, we had no hope. No health. A powerful word, even if no one seems to know what it means. The mere mention strikes fear into those usually sound enough not to flinch when the TV announcer says the word epidemic. "Must be worse. Surely it has outgrown the parameters of the original dangers and become some great, uncontrollable destroyer of all things living." Not so. Epidemic: A disease which has spread to a large number of people within a region. Pandemic: A disease which has spread across a large region, even into other nations or globally. Okay, so for epidemia, think anything you like because everyone seems to suffer the same things every time, even if they are not actually pathogenic or contagious. Most would think flu, coughs and colds, gastroenteritis, etc. But what if there is more and you have have not even considered it? And what if it is not about some perceived spread, but more to do with what poisons all the people in the same area are exposed to, eating, drinking and using? The same HABITS? No, I guess that would be too easy. And for pandemia, you'd think bubonic plague, smallpox, cholera, Spanish influenza and so on, right? Again, what if it wasn't fleas on rats or coughs, but the filthy conditions sufferers were forced to live in? Bad diet? Rotten food? No access to sanitation and clean drinking water? Strong poisons that were used in industry and medicine alike? Cramped living conditions? Yeah, too easy again. Something only becomes a pandemic if a government or media announces it to be so. And if someone dies of cancer, heart disease or pre-existing illness, it is much easier to up the numbers by including them as victims of the latest pandemic. It also helps when clever IT boffins can conjure up frightening graphics of unimaginable understanding; looking for all the world, like real cells and scary germs that kill. The same, scary germs that are undetectable any other way... The absolute madness, fear, ignorance and blatant gullibility surrounding the current COVID-19 would be laughable (and it is, for those who know a little) if it were not killing people. No, not some unproven pathogenic killer, but mismanagement of pre-existing symptoms and poor self care which has been taken away from citizens because it is dismissed as self diagnosis and self medication, even if it always worked previously. People like to use throwaway lines such as, "He was so healthy" or, "Struck down suddenly" - until we break each case down. I will not make this little article any more complex by listing individual cases but if one were to do their own homework and investigate each case, they would see that most fatal cases were of a certain agegroup and health picture; ie they were struggling with chronic and most likely eventually fatal health issues and as happens every day, the common cold was too much for their already at-risk health to cope with. Many had also received immune-weakening medications or even vaccines recently and were struggling to build a safe level of immunity, while compromised by toxic ingredients never meant to be ingested or injected. Unlike plagues of history, there are no great telltale signs like black boils or oozing sores with this latest plague. The symptoms - used to diagnose' a case, are - Dry cough Fever Fatigue Thick sputum Shortness of breath Bone or joint pain Sore throat Headaches Nausea Vomiting Stuffy nose If this sounds familiar, that would be because it is. This picture describes just about any cold or flu that anyone has ever suffered from. The fact it can descend into pneumonia, to any health expert worth a modicum of their qualifications, screams either mismanaged minor health issues or pre-existing poor immune function, which should be dealt with BEFORE doing anything else, or allowing anything else to make you sicker. More on this, if you read my post on how to deal with flu. Or colds. After all, a flu is just a badly managed cold. Why are people so predisposed to accepting that they have poor immune function? Why do they believe they are somehow different? ANYONE can improve their immune function and not be a victim to anything and everything going around (1). It's funny how those who believe this, are the ones who refuse to change their diets or take so much as a supplement or herb to build themselves up. And don't, whatever you do, mention pH or superfoods to them. For the record, if you were asked to name a few pandemics of the past, or even epidemics, it would come down to the following, right? Bubonic plague, Spanish Flu, Cholera, HIV, Ebola, SARS, Swine Flu, Measles, Polio, etc. Have you ever considered that these may not be the biggest killers, that there was always more to it and that they were only either epidemics or pandemics because the public were told so? What of diseases you believed to have long been dead, ie cured by the magical potions of some brilliant quackery ie a bright new discovery by modern medicine? What if history covered up the facts, that the cures were actually down to using natural, God-given medicines that sufferers and experts alike, largely overlooked? What of the fact that homeopathic medicine (2) was more effective in the Influenza pandemic of 1918, the Typhus epidemic of 1813, the Cholera pandemic of 1830, the Yellow Fever epidemic of the 1850s, the Diphtheria pandemic of the 1860s, the polio pandemic of the 1950s? The following pandemic diseases are a mere snippet of what is out there and what the media and governments alike ignore. Some are easily curable, some are not. Let's start with the first one mentioned in the Bible - it's still here but unlike the ignorance of the day, people realise you will not die if you are exposed to it. Leprosy - affects over 5 million globally, over 200 thousand new cases annually. Tuberculosis - affects over 10 million globally and kills more than 1.5 million annually. Syphilis - 1 in 250 people worldwide have syphilis. Over 200 thousand babies are killed by syphilis. Gonorrhoea - over 88 million NEW cases each year. Kills over 3 thousand people annually. Malaria - affects at least 200 million globally and kills more than 500 thousand annually. Leptospirosis - affects over 1 million people and kills over 100 thousand per year. Dengue - affects over 400 million each year, kills over 500 thousand per year. Cholera - affects at least 4 million globally and kills more than 100 thousand annually. Chlamydia - over 130 million NEW cases globally annually. Hepatitis C - over 1.75 million new cases annually, over 350 thousand deaths annually. Where is the outcry? These are real diseases, not man made or mere propaganda. And they are everywhere, in every nation. Thankfully, we have at our disposal, thousands of natural, safe healthy options to make ourselves healthy, and stay that way. Ever heard of FOUR THIEVES (3)? It's an old remedy which actually prevented and cured the plague and it is still effective today. Please remember the way lepers were treated in Biblical times. And the mass hysteria... On a final note, let's have a little look at the real killers - Coronary heart disease - over 8 million deaths annually Diabetes - over 1.5 million deaths annually Road traffic accidents - over 1.3 million deaths annually Liver & kidney disease - over 2.5 million deaths annually Diphtheria - over 2000 deaths annually Otitis Media - over 3000 deaths annually Malnutrition - over 9 million deaths annually (almost 3 thousand deaths a DAY) Hepatitis C - over 140 million cases annually, with over 50 thousand deaths IF we cared enough about overall health maintenance (4), and that of our neighbours - and planet. And if we cared enough about the very real pandemic that is happening now, maybe we could save the human race.   • Standard Western Diet = Dis-Ease

    A few facts that advertising doesn't tell you. Oh, you thought advertising executives were honest? About as honest as bankers, car salesmen and real estate agents (and who has not been ripped off by at least one of these saints?) Bear in mind, these people are paid to flog product and they are paid B-I-G. Their livelihood depends on major product flogging ability. Truth does not sell. Mystery does. Mythology and urban legend does. Shock value does. Stretching the truth does. These guys are not educated in health or nutrition. They have the gift of the gab. They know what sells, what grabs your attention. What shapes your buying habits. What if your food choices are not only NOT good for your health, but capable of destroying water supplies? What if your food contains such a cocktail of poisons that you are slowly but surely killing off yourself and anyone you are responsible for feeding? They KNOW this, even if you do not. Just a few food facts you wont see on TV ads or in your local supermarket... Fun Fact # 1 Your own carbon footprint One person reducing the consumption of animal flesh and milk reduces environmental impact more than cutting use of your car. In its 2006 report (1), the United Nations said raising animals for food generates more greenhouse gases than all the cars and trucks in the world combined. Fun Fact # 2 Water use and scarcity It is estimated that to breed up to 1 kilogram of beef, it takes between 13,000 to 100,000 litres of water. To produce a kilogram of plant food the usual way, it takes between 1,000 to 2,000 litres (although there are more green methods to do so). Facts are facts but don't be shocked at the way the beef industry retaliates by once again twisting facts (2). To produce one kilo of non organic wheat it takes up to 4000 litres of water, simply because farming practices insist on using inefficient methods. Fun Fact # 3 Unknown and unmeasured antibiotic, hormone and other drug use drugs and chemicals fed to animals during breeding and rearing remain in large amounts in the flesh, unaltered even when the animal is killed and cooked (3). In fact, many are activated to become carcinogenic on top of all the other negative effects, simply by heating or burning. It is impossible to gauge the effects or amounts consumed in a normal year. Fun Fact # 4 Improved Cardiovascular health Medical students and nurses alike are now being taught of the benefits of a plant based diet. A diet that includes meat has huge amounts of saturated fats - something we simply cannot recognise or assimilate, leaving our arteries clogged, our organs overworked, placing us on the waiting list for open heart surgery. Fun Fact # 5 Colon Cancer The number one cause of colon cancer is stagnation of meat. The expected digestion is nothing more than sluggish putrefaction, where we are unable to digest or assimilate flesh almost identical to our own. At the time of death, the average meat eater has up to 8lbs of undigested, rotting meat lurking in their bowel. No amount of relieving the bowels will change this, as before middle age, the large intestine has begun to 'pocket' resulting in enlarged pockets of tissue which in turn have weakened peristalsis. Meat, toxins and other unwanted waste accumulates, causing high acid residue, irritation and eventually ulcerated lesions which convert to cancer as the body attempts to encapsulate the offending area. It is impossible for anyone on a plant based diet (meaning without meat and dairy) to develop this form of cancer. But it is possible to reverse these symptom sets! Fun Fact # 6 Tap Water Most people would be shocked to discover that our governments have accepted levels of contaminants and poisons in our tap water (4). As they are invisible, water is seen as 'clean' even though you are actually consuming such delicacies as hard core drugs, banned substances and urine. If that's not enough, what about the presence of sex hormones, anaesthetic drugs and chemotherapy drugs? This is just a snippet of what your are putting into your body without knowing it. And all of it is perfectly okay with your decision makers and health experts. So, who is responsible for your health again? Take charge.   • Bushfire - the Effect on Health

    Exposure to bush fire or wild fire creates health hazards in many forms; burns, smoke inhalation, toxic material inhalation, absorption via the skin of unseen but ever- present poisons, ingestion of tainted food and drink - just a few examples of what amounts to very real health threats for any animal or human exposed for even a short amount of time. There are the obvious issues such as asthma or aggravation of existing chronic health issues and for extreme issues, hospitals are on standby to help. Non-drowsy antihistamines are often necessary to alleviate allergy-type inflammation which causes stinging and burning of eyes and nose - and throat. But what of self care in areas where you are unable to access professional help? Fires are part of life, but the 2019/20 wild fires in Australia are not only killing countless wildlife and domestic/livestock innocents, the extensive nature and duration may be affecting health far more than anyone has had time to consider. Chemical gases, burnt fuel and particulates are freely absorbed via the skin and straight into the lungs. While a wet scarf or surgical mask will help to some degree, what can you do once you have these things in your system? Haze will irritate eyes and the throat, paving way for inflammation and opportunistic infection. While you can't magically clear the air, you can alleviate the symptoms caused by smoke. And what can you do to effectively treat burns? Once emergency care has been done, and just as importantly, analgesia given to relieve pain, there are many amazing measures you can take to ensure burns heal well. First off, PLEASE get the care you, your loved ones or your animals need - burns kill and are unbearable to just put up with. It's also a good idea to keep these suggestions on hand in your home first aid kit (VITAL!) - as the od saying goes, BE PREPARED. TIPS FOR DURING AND AFTER SMOKE EXPOSURE AND INHALATION Rescue Remedy should be on hand in every home, club, school, public place 24/7. I have lost count of the number of emergency situations I have witnessed, successfully using Rescue Remedy to calm down people off all ages, avoiding further trauma and issues. Give or take as often as you need. Drink lots of clean water. Absolutely vital. You may not realise it but your blood and vital organs suffer when exposed to smoke. Keep your body hydrated. Add fresh lemon or lime juice to your water to help alkalise (smoke is highly acidic). Saline nasal spray, neti pot flush or breathing in steam to soothe damaged and irritated mucous membranes. Adding thyme, tea tree, eucalyptus or oregano oils or herbs to the spray, flush or steam will help fight opportunistic infections. Taking a multivitamin and mineral to maintain adequate nutrition. If you can access it, be sure to get a multi rich in glutathione to fight oxidative smoke damage. Calming herbs such as ashwagandha, kava, chamomile and lemon balm in a tea will help fight the stress of coping with what is going on all around you. Add a pinch of Himalayan salt to your drinks to increase elemental minerals while avoiding electrolyte depletion. Warm drinks a few times a day. While it seems strange to want to drink something warm in what is essentially a hot environment, it soothes the cilia of mucous membranes which encourages movement of toxic particles which can form a glue-like coating, creating irritation and inflammation. Antioxidant supplementation, especially vitamin C - to encourage cellular healing and fight oxidation. Homeopathic detox remedies such as Nux Vomica 30c, Hydrastis 30c, Sulphuris 30c; Belladonna 30c for reddened irritation and Aconitum 30c for early irritation. Slippery elm and marshmallow tea (herb, not lollies!) to soothe mucous membranes of digestive system and lungs. Truly soothing, it actually works like a mild pain relief as it coats the mucous membranes. Ginger, dandelion, green, coriander seed and red clover tea to fight nausea, digestive problems and to help flush the blood and kidneys/liver which will be working overtime 24/7 to fight what the body identifies as an invader. Add a little bicarb to your water in the morning and night to increase detox process and alkalise the body from the acidity of stress and smoke. Wash your skin thoroughly daily to help slough off old cells and built up particulates from the smoke and fire. Even if water is scarce, a bowl of clean water, a little cooling peppermint essential oil and a teaspoon of bicarb will not only clean but cool and detox your skin (which is your biggest vital organ) from the effects of fire. Epsom salts added to wash water will boost detox effects. If you have soothing eyedrops, use them as needed. Home made eye baths can be made using a medicine cup or eye dropper: chamomile, euphrasia or green tea will soothe reddened eyes fast. Gently rub a few drops of olive oil, pawpaw cream (non petroleum jelly type!) or castor oil over the eyelids and massage into the eyes to soothe. Your local health shop, if accessible, should stock Quercetin, which is a plant based antihistamine which, while it takes a while to work, is long-acting and relives all manner of allergy type symptoms. NATURAL BURN CARE Burn care and natural medicine don't usually make it into the same conversations; I'm not sure why, burns have been around from the beginning, and so have natural, or traditional medicines. Be sure to ALWAYS seek out suitable analgesia as burn pain is crippling and should never be ignored. You may not believe, but all are tried, true and tested many times over and have done their job when professional burn care was not available. These measures can also be used in animal wound care when possible. Fresh aloe vera applied liberally. Wash with bicarb or vinegar dissolved in water and allow to dry. Repeat often. Soak cloths in strong black tea and hold over burns to allow the tannins to soothe burns Colloidal silver and lavender oil spray. Wet cloths and soak in soy sauce. Freeze and alternate to apply to burns. Once warmed by heat of burn, put in freezer and use a new one. Repeat. Soy is a natural burn healer. Calendula and pawpaw creams naturally assist in soothing burns once initial heat is over. If you have access to a health shop, Fucoidan is a seaweed anti inflammatory which provides incredible support to alleviate pain. Above all, stay safe. Watch out for others. Watch out for animals in distress. Watch out for those who have become homeless - don't let this add to our shockingly dismal statistics. Report arsonists. Regardless of how the fires started or spread, our firefighters need all the support and help they can muster. Don't be afraid to reach out to others or for help yourself. Finally, go vegan. We've all heard varying stories about how up to a billion Australian animals have died in the fires. And how sad farmers are having to kill animals already destined to be killed in equally cruel ways. It is going to take some time to fix the ecological disaster, if it even can be restored. And I am sure measures are underway to mass farm meat and dairy animals to make up for the loss. Why not just go plant based? It is the number one thing you can do for the future of the natural kingdom of our nation. Farming and animal management processes need to change for the health of the soil, waterways and remaining animals - and people. PLANT TREES!

  • What is Healthy Dog Food?

    The human population has more pets today than ever before. More is spent on pampered pets; costumes, beds, toys, carriers and really unnecessary items are a multi-billion dollar industry. Everything to make your pet look cool and cared for, yet the most astounding aspect of this is the lack of interest in what goes into your pet. Rules have been changed over the years; domestic animals now must be microchipped and vaccinated to infinity just to be kenneled, sold or registered, with no thought to their actual health. But this is not about that issue, which is no different to this topic being raised in my other articles concerning the deliberate destruction of our health and liberties. The healthy living movement has in general, overlooked putting the same attention into their animal friends. Many people of faith see animals as some sub-standard possession that needs no special care. The mere fact that even veterinarians are usually meat and dairy eaters, shows such a disconnect between species, one has to wonder what "I love animals" means. Thankfully, there is an ethical animal health industry, albeit a very slow moving one. So, what is in your dog's food? Well, mostly waste. If you feed your dogs meat and fish products, they are usually the killing-room floor discards, not fit for human consumption (not that any of it is anyway but let's not go there). What makes up the dog logs and tinned food? Bonemeal, eyeballs, offal, skin, hair, feathers and blood (ie if you read your ingredients list 'by-product' is the euphemism) are a portion, offering little nutritional content. But meat makes up a small portion of the pet food. GMO soy waste, GMO corn waste, GMO wheat and other grains like sorghum which are largely indigestible not only because our grains are no longer sprouted prior to drying, as in ancient days, plant cellulose is the highest portion of content - great for bulking up the bowel but zero nutrients. Even pharmaceuticals such as pentobarbital which is the chief drug used in horse, cat and dog euthanasia can be found in commercial pet food. What does this mean? One might believe someone has sabotaged pet food. Not so. The ugly truth is that horse, dog or even cat meat is found in pet food - even pets. The fact that there are actually laws in place banning food for pet or human consumption proves something is drastically wrong. One can only wonder how the bodies of domestic pets even find their way into the mix. Have you not noticed something very strange about dog food? Meat-free dog food is vilified as cruel and insufficient to provde all your dog needs, yet not even vets take note or understand what a pet actually needs by way of nutrients, so long as the writing on the promotional blurb tells them it is nutritional or vet-recommended, it is approved. In truth, pet foods have NOTHING resembling what a wild dog would eat. When did you last see a dog chase down a fish, or cow, or lamb, or pig, or horse and eat it, bones, hooves, skin, offal, hair scales and all? All of these are found in commercial pet food - and most people, if meat-free pet food is suggested, would laugh at the thought of any high nutrient pet food that just happens to be free of all these ingredients. We have domesticated them into eating species they would never eat, along with waste they would never eat. And along the way, helped them develop human disease. This goes for 'quality' and 'veterinary grade' pet food as well. It really is all about money. And what of those cheap 'rawhide' type dog snacks you can buy in dollar stores and even pet shops? Thousands of dogs have died from kidney failure, after consuming dog treats laced with melamine, a glue-like plastic powdered filler also used in infant formula. Recalls may save lives but the truth is that most pet food is rubbish. But hey, the blurb says they are healthy for your pet; THAT is okay then! Most pet foods have high levels of pesticides, pharmaceuticals and irradiation. So, what can you do? Well, a lot, actually, IF you want to make the effort. It need not cost a lot, but it does take time and energy. There are a very small number of (quite expensive) natural, organic and healthy pet food ranges out there. But have you considered making your own? Vitally healthy plant based recipes which not only help your pets to thrive, but no other species will suffer so your pet can live. Yes, you can buy this type of pet food made commercially but sadly most of it is no better nutritionally at least, than the usual fare. V-Dog would be my favourite, however I am sure if you do your research (ie read labels) you may find something suitable and affordable. There are MANY variations, but use these recipes as a general guideline and watch your dog's health and life turn around. These recipes provide an exponentially wider range of vital nutrients - usually deficient, or altogether missing from modern day dog food. SOFT FOOD MIX (similar consistency to canned food) This makes a LOT so you can adjust or just freeze into containers and defrost the evening before - we only give this one at night time feed. Try to use organic ingredients, or at the least, unsprayed and non GMO, With the vegetables, be sure to wipe them down but do not peel as the peels contain the bacteria needed to make B12 and other nutrients they would get in the wild. Ingredients: 1 cup each brown lentils, chickpeas, buckwheat, brown rice, dried green peas 1/2 cup each flaxseeds/linseeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds 1 cup each small dice sweet potatoes or pumpkin, carrots, zucchini, beetroot 6 small vegetable (onion-free - we use Massells 7s 'beef' flavoured) stock cubes OR 1/2 cup yeast spread (vegemite, marmite, promite, vegespread, etc - or soy sauce) [Optional - 1 cup peanut butter (they LOVE it)] Either 1 kilo bag of frozen mixed vegetables or a kilo of fresh diced vegetables of your choice 1 cup yeast flakes for cheese flavour 1/2 cup dried parsley flakes 1 block firm organic tofu or okara, diced finely for protein 1/2 cup brewer's yeast for B vitamins 1/2 cup chlorella or kelp flakes for minerals and nutrients 1/4 cup pink or sea salt for minerals 1 loose cup torn nori sheets (if not using kelp) 1 cup psyllium husks/powder (sets the food and provides bulk to help with appetite and bowel cleansing) Method: In one pot, overnight soak equal parts lentils, chickpeas, buckwheat, brown rice and dried peas. In another pot, soak equal parts flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, in an equal volume of water (3 cups). Small dice 1 cup each of sweet potatoes (skin on), carrots, zucchini, beetroot. Roast or steam until soft. We roast in winter and it gives a stronger flavour, and steam in summer just to keep kitchen heat down. Meanwhile in a very large stock pot cook up the soaked pulses, with 6 small stock cubes or vegemite (or similar). Here, you can also add a cup of peanut butter as they love it but this is up to you. Be sure to not cook too soft that they turn to mush. When they are nearly cooked, add a kilo bag of either mixed frozen vegetables or make your own (diced carrots, peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, etc). Just until barely cooked. Allow everything to cool and combine in a large pot with the dried parsley, nutritional yeast, diced tofu, brewer's yeast, chlorella or kelp powder, pink salt, a cup of torn sheets of nori (if not already using kelp) and to soak up excess water and make into a firm mould like dog food, stir in the seed mix. Leave to sit until set and put into containers to freeze, taking out each night to defrost - serve as you would usuall with soft dog food. NOTE: We also add probiotic powder every few days and raw vegetables as snacks during the day while cooking. Every few days also, we sprinkle with a high nutrient powder which they LOVE. HIGH PROTEIN SNACKAH BIKKIES - treats and a few with each morning feed depending on appetite. Ingredients: 1/2 cup each nutritional yeast, chia seeds, linseeds/flaxseeds, sunflower se eds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds 1 cup desiccated coconut 1/4 cup ground charcoal (optional) 1/4 cup spirulina or kelp powder Either 1 cup of okara or small block silken tofu 1 cup mashed sweet potato 2 cups buckwheat flour 2 cups chickpea flour 1 cup tapioca 5 teaspoons baking powder 2 tablespoons vegemite or 3 small stock cubes 2 tablespoons brewer's yeast 1 tablespoon Himalayan salt or sea salt [Optional - 2 heaped tablespoons peanut butter] These are SO easy to make and taste so good the kids even sneak them once cooled down. Method: Overnight, soak nutritional yeast, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut - by adding 1 cup water for each cup of dry ingredients. Next day carefully mix in all other ingredients by hand. Surprisingly, the flour will continue to mix in well. Keep adding until soft biscuit mix consistency. Dust the bench with tapioca and using about a cupful of the mix at a time, form into a ball, dust with the flour and put aside until all the dough is used. One by one, gently mould each ball into a long snake and cut into small biscuit sized pieces. Place close to each other on a baking tray and bake at 180C for about an hour until dry and lightweight but not rock hard (although this makes it more fun for them). They become light like crackers if they are cooked long enough. When you take them out they should have no soft centre or springy texture - they should be a little hard but not rock cakes. The dogs will still love them even so, but for small or old dogs it's not ideal. I split this into two lots once COMPLETELY cooled and freeze half - Store in old sealable dog biscuit bags and use as treats or a handful with meals along with bikkies and soft dog food and raw vegetable slices such as broccoli or cauliflower stalks, sweet potato, pumpkin (and seeds), etc. NOTE: You can mix up the seeds and nuts in the recipes by adding other fresh seeds you may find - crushed peanuts/almonds/cashews, sesame seeds, white beans, washed quinoa, etc.   The trick is to be sure to add lots of complex amino acids so the dogs can make their own protein (which is what we all should be doing). It all seems complex but you would honestly take a few hours each fortnight to make it up in bulk. It seems a bit fiddly to initially set up the ingredients but they are pretty much what we should all eat anyway other than a few minor ingredients. And you can buy them in bulk at Indian stores and Asian grocers, or bulk dried goods stores. The biscuits clean their teeth well and their bowel actions are awesome. * Contrary to popular (paid) opinion, non GMO, organic soy is NOT going to affect hormones, nor is it toxic. And dogs LOVE it. Additional to your dog's healthy diet please give eggs regularly - they love them! An alternative to bones is washed horse hoof trimmings What about supplements? Great question; one that should be asked. In a modern world of environmental toxins, where our water, air and soil are toxic, our houses are toxic, food is toxic and the stresses of everyday living can prematurely age a dog, dedicated supplementation and even health treatments are a must. Many of the ingredients in the recipes are supplements in their own right but if you are concerned, here are some of my favourites which I have witnessed amazing results both clinically and personally - Probiotics Superfood wafers Anxiety Multi Superfood powder mix: Make in advance & store in a large glass jar- 1/4 cup each of: Chlorella powder Spirulina powder Brewer's yeast Turmeric powder Kelp powder Ground dried chamomile flowers Ground dried hemp seeds Broccoli powder Beetroot powder 1 tablespoon each of: Ginger powder Himalayan salt Ground coriander seed Ground dried mint leaves Ground dried basil leaves Every few days, sprinkle over their soft food and mix in - 1 teaspoon (large dogs) 1/2 teaspoon (medium dogs) 1/4 teaspoon (small dogs) 1 pinch (puppies) All of the above can be purchased at bulk wholefoods or most health stores. Please note that due to the colour of the plants, your dog's droppings will be a different colour to those of other dogs - especially due to the turmeric, beetroot and spirulina.   • The Invisible Healer - Lymphatics

    You know the scenario; you wake up and your throat is sore. You feel each side of your neck and there are large soft lumps that have sprung up overnight. Or you managed to inflict a scratch on your leg or arm while out walking and within days, a painful lump has formed in your groin or in your armpit. So you head off to the nearest doctor who will prescribe antibiotics to kill off the vital pathogens, enzymes and compounds in your body which have one job - to not only fight invaders but keep the body clean and healed. Imagine destroying the very system that is responsible for your healing from the recent infliction! The lymphatic system is the most under-addressed system of the body, yet it is as vital as your blood, heart or even your brain. Barely recognised in modern medicine, it is seen as a hindrance rather than the system responsible for immunity. Lymph nodes activate as soon as a threat appears and they enlarge while trapping foreign matter and rapidly building an immune response - you can feel them under the jawline and down the neck, like masses or lumps. If we consider the lymphatics as both a drainage system of toxic body waste and also a magnet for poisons that are too toxic for the digestive and urinary systems, you may get the picture. Unbroken fats and starches accumulate there, as do heavy metals, moulds and undefined mycoplasma, parasites, excess pathogens and the toxic wastes as above. Then we have the second aspect - rather than doing their job - which is to be the frontline for immunity, this system is too busy dealing with the poisons and stopping them from becoming the reason for sickness and death. Every single health issue is linked to the lymphatic system. And simple symptoms like swollen glands, cellulite, fluid retention and weight issues are warning signs largely overlooked. Everything you put onto and into your body affects this gently passive system, and in turn clogging the entire pathway, adding further burdens to the surrounding tissues and organs. Lymphatic cancers and diseases are appearing in infants as commonly now as they appear in adults who have experienced a life of unhealthy living and heavy toxin/medication exposure. Environmental factors are largely to blame. Lymphatic inflammation is a painful warning that an underlying issue has been brewing for a period of time, yet three of the warning signs - cellulite, infections and fluid - are attacked with disdain and further toxic chemicals which address every system other than the lymphatic system itself. The final blow for the lymphatic system is that we now have unrecognisable toxic cocktails that are difficult to clear safely, while any foci that create scars on the external bodily surface - cuts, surgical incisions, burns, etc - each of these create an invisible block to the natural flow of the system itself, often resulting in not just fluid retention, but toxic fluid retention; which is where we eventually see such catastrophic fallout as lymphoedema. If you turn your hand over and softly run your fingertips just on the skin along the inside of your arm, you will feel tiny pinhead type lumps and bumps just under the skin's surface. We are talking about hundreds of thousands, even millions of tiny blockages. All necessary to keep us alive, and all cleaning up the mess, 24/7. Iridologically, for a blocked/compromised lymphatic system, if you look into a mirror, you will see a dirty white/yellow thick line just inside the outer rim of the iris, which denotes the lymph flow just under the skin, with pools reflecting in affected organs. So how do we ensure a free-flowing lymphatic system, while ensuring a strong immunity? No medications exists which will provide a healthy lymphatic system and the care needed is a multi-faceted one. We need to - a) flush the excretory systems, b) add a secondary immune building arsenal, c) flush the lymphatic system itself. This is a simplistic view of the lymphatics, and it is far more detailed but there should be a constant effort to clean, long before any other system of the body is dealt with! Scary, right? I discovered a long time ago that it is a multi pronged approach, and there is no definitive answer. So external and internal efforts are needed. Externally, my preferred ways to heal your lymphatics - rebounder or vibration platform lymphatic drainage massage - professional and self massage infrared sauna acupuncture or acupressure using key points, especially kidney, liver & spleen meridians deep breathing coffee enemas to shock the liver and help it release buildup in order to absorb more waste hot/cold hydrotherapy (bath or shower) to shock the skin/lymphatic drainage - adding magnesium sulphate (epsom salts) to the hot water is an old remedy which pulls out toxins from the capillaries and lymphatic vessels just under the skin reflexology especially for lymphatic drainage castor oil hot packs to engorged glands inversion therapy which can be done either by one of the mechanical tables or by building a board on your floor, one end raised (foot end) with a few bricks, a board or even old door covered with sufficient padding for comfort gentle dry body brushing from extremities towards major glands in armpits, down into groin and up the legs into the groin Internally, my best-result therapies include - a) homeopathic lymphatic drainage b) homeopathic detox c) homeopathic fluid retention treatment d) homeopathic parasite treatment e) homeopathic liver support f) water, water and water - every day, regular filtered water intake to flush g) herbal tonics such as calendula/cleavers/mullein tea h) organic, plant based diet (at least an 80/20 composition) i) pH bodily correction - urine, saliva, lymphatic fluid Thankfully most of this can be done at home. What ever you do - don't just do nothing.
